You genuinely don't think politics will affect Capita in the short to medium term? Do you know where the pipeline comes from? A government that has an ideological persuasion against outsourcing would be catastrophic for Capita. The risk of this rose yesterday. I hope it doesn't happen, but don't patronise people by saying Capita is immune.

Worse still, if the Unions leap on this leadership battle to steal a mandate they know would be impossible to get in a general election (given how self servingly unpopular they are) they actually could, I think, provide genuine problems for Capita. It's not hard to imagine the ginger loud mouth chav cancelling contracts with Capita in a lefty populist push (obviously with zero justification for doing so)

You keep making the same point. The press hate Capita because of its history, and will make a meal out of any slight story because it is click bait for raving lefty loonies. You should already know that before committing funds here.

Facts are £8 million on a crap contract won't affect the tangible reason for investing here. Try and stop crying and be more positive if you're long. Or sell if the click bait news is fundamentally affecting your investment decision making.

Don't forget LTH, this is a Labour government minister. They will be looking for any excuse to blame someone else, especially Capita who will earn them extra brownie points with their paymasters, the Unions. I'm sure the minister is pumping the news for some likes before the local elections. Sadly, rather than deal in objective facts and problem solving, the sad lefty failures will use any opportunity to try and highlight a private sector problem thinking it will make them popular with the soap dodgers.

The market wants to see if Capita can deliver on what it says on a more fundamental basis first, then rerate, then maybe dividends much later.
