Trisor - it means that a company, even if it is making a loss on the P+L, can pay a dividend from capital holdings. My understanding is you cannot pay a dividend as such, if you've made a loss on the P+L.

I assume this will allow some distributions back to shareholders from capital sales. Given it's had f all impact on the SP, I can only guess that it's not viewed positively or negatively!

Capita is such a weird share.

Wins contracts more than its mcap and still meanders around 14p (£238 million) non stop.

Personally I feel we are very lucky to have AH at the helm, given the amount of exciting businesses he could work with given his Amazon CV.

I'm sure if he went in depth on the AI he'd be criticised... people are just annoyed that this massive turnaround job will take longer than 12 months to show on the financials.

He's our Bruno Fernandes, and we are Manchester United. We're lucky to have him, and we will be great again!

I would have a guess that NHS England being abolished, and the UK having to rapidly rebuild military capability will provide many bid opportunities for Capita. Given we have been very successful on the Navy contract, and if we can nail the AI implementation AH mentions, this should be transformative for Capita.

At 13.5p this is such a steal at the moment.
