I’m guessing, but couldn’t you acquire a stake in Capita at much lower prices by buying, but also shorting to ensure the price doesn’t go too high, so you can buy more stock to then instigate a cut price takeover bid? How you’d get so many companies to short it I don’t know

The penny will drop eventually. WTP in shorting a share already priced to fail, that now has stability and an almost guaranteed set of accounts coming out showing its worth 10x it's current price.

Other than the historic bad sentiment to Capita from fund managers that lost a fortune on it in the 2010s, there doesn't seem to be any other reason. The more attention the accounts and turnaround gets, the more the funds will pile in (if we're not taken over first which would be v annoying)

Didn't see any coverage of the protestors yesterday which is positive. The volatility on this share is so crazy, it is so sentiment driven, hard to get any sort of accurate valuation really. Even the professional analysis just seem random.

I think the fact Lily shows up on these sorts of days is his MOST admirable quality. AIM only shows his r3tarded head when it suits him. There's a sort of integrity to owning that you're wrong.

Still at 22.5p in old money. The spike to 50p on zero news and much worse financial position doesn't feel too long ago. It feels like one good trading update showing profits, controlled costs, measurable positive P/E ratios and this could be so so much higher.

Its Capita of course though. I've felted like this so many times before.
