Seems like there is some resistance around 6quid, oil isn't on our side at the moment, if it falls again tomorrow then I think PFC will slide further.

Higbert what you said is very interesting, its great to here from someone that works in the industry.

I am hoping for two things from Petrofac in the next year, contract wins and increased margins. More broadly we need oil prices to stay strong and the stock market to stop wobbling like it has recently, otherwise we are in a spot of trouble.

Other people might have a different view, but in general I think Petrofac is well placed for re-rating to the upside.

Petrofac is super volatile, so just hold tight and you will get your chance to sell again at a decent level.

Its the same people that sold it down 2.7% earlier. If they can keep it from rising today then they wont have to stop out amd then hopefully everything looks more bearish tomorrow.

any ideas why the FTSE250 is flying?

Unbelievable how it gets sold down almost 3% then gets back to flat on the day....

looks like Balyasny Europe Asset Management LLP also borrowed more shares on 11th.

to be honest im down on petrofac so you always get a little more sensitive to movements the wrong way.

ftse 250 is up 0.4% and petrofac is down 1.6%, agreed not tanking but if thats on no news flow, its a reasonable move.

Any idea why petrofac is tanking today? oil?

Any idea why the FTSE100 was up and the FTSE250 down so much? I guess FTSE100 was up of weaker £? Was FTSE 250 down over Brexit worries?

Why was Petrofac down as well when oil was up? Confusing"!

Do you lot think the ftse will open lower off the back of the US close today or did the US just need a bigger correction because it has rallied harder?

I think it was oversold today. I noticed BP and Shell adjusted up 1% after the close. I know they are slightly different stocks but I think their share prices have been pretty correlated with PFC recently.
