What is a bit strange about today is that we priced in the higher risk of US recession etc on Friday, Asia didn't so caught up earlier today, but why are we moving down further again of what happened in Asia - it seems a circular sell off?

I know I am stating the obvious but perhaps it has become a target for the HF's to short as they don't like the slower pace at which WG are deleveraging. Any economic slow down will put more pressure on companies with more debt I guess?

I think I am going to hold off for today as well. I always worry about what will come out in the press over the weekend. I think there could be more downside to come at the begging of next week.

So when May's 3rd Meaningful Vote gets rejected, what happens next. What are peoples views on whether this is bullish as it means Brexit less likely, or bearish as it takes us closer to no deal. Any thoughts much appreciated.

Interesting the FTSE100 & 250 have diverged today as a result of St Theresa. This could see WG outperform PFC in the short term.

PFC divested assets last year which the market took positively, so I think that could also be true of wood group. Shed any dead wood so to speak.

I ended up switching into WG as PFC have just had a contract win and and ex div coming up, it has had a good run and I'm still worried about the SFO investiagtion which could take us back to square one.

Risk/reward which is the better trade WG or PFC?

How much of this move is being driven by the ex div coming up, and how much is being driven by people thinking too much downside was priced into the potential outcomes of the SFO investigation.

Any negative updates on the SFO investigation and this is potentially back at £4.
