Apologies but I forgot that AIM companies have a later reporting deadline than main market so the results for BOO could be delayed until the end of August, not June, without falling foul of the rules.

If I go for a walk every morning, usually around 8 or 9am, but I go later at 11am one day because it was raining then it’s still a morning walk (I haven’t missed the midday deadline) but I would still say I’ve been delayed by the weather.

You have a very narrow definition of ‘delayed’. If they miss the 30th June deadline they won’t just be delayed but late (from a regulatory point of view) - and the share will be suspended.

I don’t think it’s a particular concern that the results have been delayed, it could be for any number of reasons - to get the refinancing sorted, changing CFO, the Revb situation or to allow for an update on any other corporate restructuring (including any brand sales).

Although none of the above will impact the numbers (which we already know will be abysmal) as they will be post-balance sheet events, they may help put some of the numbers into a better context (e.g. the cash position will be scary but an update on a prospective sale would soften this).

So I expect big news of some sort being announced with (or before) the results - only a few weeks at most to find out…

Indeed, ultimately the SP is the most important thing but that is the result of whatever is driving it and in this case that will be mainly whether they can do a deal on any of their products (or even just the market perception of whether they will do a deal). In turn that means second guessing what QBT are up to - hence the understandable focus of discussion.

What is not important is one individual trade that we don't even know whether it is a buy or a sell - though the price suggests the latter is more likely. It could even represent a genuine trade (i.e. buy and a sell together between MMs). If it is a sell then personally I would not take this as a big negative as it is just one trade representing an opinion - just like all the other trades on all the other days in both directions.

I can't understand those that obsess over small share price movements or individual trades. In my view they are just noise and the key thing is the big picture of whether what QBT has works or not - and obviously we all have our own opinions on that!

The only time any trade or trades may be significant is when they are a result of insider knowledge/well-informed rumour but that certainly doesn't seem to be the case here at all.

Btw - there was discussion of that trade.

Your sneering comment when you said SCB got the Capex number completely wrong when in fact he had got it completely right and it was you who were wrong (and then tried to squirm out of it by saying it should exclude property despite that being just about most capexy spend there is and even that didn't matter as SCB's figure still exactly matched the one in the accounts so was obviously not 'wrong').

So I'll pass on your suggestion but instead I will only comment on your posts from now on when I believe they contain misinformation or a lie (and when either is about BOO). No promises but I'll try my best to stick to that no matter how rude and condescending you are to me or to other posters.

I answered the question in a way I felt appropriate to the content your post contained. If you don’t think so then so be it.

It’s tempting to filter you but I think your lies and misinformation are dangerous to those not as familiar with you. Luckily though most are already wise to you - on this board at least.

My understanding is that Method B is aimed at miners not manufacturers as it is software that sits outside the chip rather than hardware that is added on to it - so ASIC manufacturers would go for C not B despite the different level of benefit.

OSD - So you can't come up with a specific example of misinformation from me? Good to know. I don't believe much of what the company says and I don't believe they will ever sell one of their products but neither of those things are misinformation just my opinion and I have given reasons for that opinion. Questioning what QBT say is not any form of 'disinformation' but just what it is - questioning what they say...in the absence of any proof after years of claims.

No - as I said I just point out misinformation as your post was which suggested that the 2.6x news on method B isn't years old.

That's all we (and the miners) can do - imagine (as we know the product is not ready yet). Are you claiming they showed a video over a year old to miners and this will lead to NDAs and deals? Or are you saying they showed something beyond that video even though QBT have not disclosed this?

The 2.6x for method B was released over two years ago. Yes, you can't beat maths :-)

Btw I have more than 1 share and in fact have been considering a little top up as the price is so low at the moment. So in the first half-hour of trading I’ll add another 161616 shares. A small amount I know but I don’t go overboard on penny stocks.
