Well there will be at least some news this week as the annual results will be released though how much they update on testing etc. within that is anybody’s guess.

There should be some useful information though - not least a more up to date figure on cash burn and perhaps more on the court case award.

They are indeed but it wasn’t me that brought them up - my response was to Will.

What is actually wrong with anything that Brew has said? It boils down to FG saying it works in the lab but nobody actually knows what this means or indeed proves as you can’t replicate the live blockchain in a lab. If it can be shown it works live (i.e. actually mines BTC and much faster than not using method B and be done at scale - which it pretty much has to be to mine enough to prove it works anyway - then everybody is just guessing and the sp won’t take off. So until they release a PRN confirming the success or otherwise of live mining we are all in the dark and the sp will either go to the stars (forget just the moon) or collapse depending on that news.

As to the tick ups we all know they are a joke and both ‘sides’ clearly benefit from the ‘bot’ or whatever as your own post proves (though not quite so much)!

I’m not sure I do at all Combos, certainly as far as QBT themselves go as I don’t think anybody knows much as they release very little news and even less that is evidenced - so we’re all just speculating. As long as everybody accepts that it’s ok but some dress up speculation as fact and it’s that which is annoying (to me anyway) and why I use the filter button for certain posters (as well as for those only interested in name calling).

Then filter them! I do, it works a treat - though I tend to filter the rampers (like Parker) as they are generally the ones that are talking the rubbish - in my view.

Good to see online retail sales rebounding from April albeit with two bank holidays helping (along with the better weather). It now means online retail sales have increased year on year for 14 of the last 15 months (the exception being this April which had the excuses of the soggy weather and the Easter holidays partly falling in March this year).

Surely BOO can finally start taking advantage of these continued good figures - if not they must be running out of excuses if the market keeps going up and they don't? It looks like we won't find out though until the interims in October.

The only thing that matters in the first instance is whether Method B actually does what is being claimed and then whether it can be replicated when it comes to actual live mining. So this 'news' doesn't change much and in fact it isn't news at all as Block have been saying for at least six months that the MDK hashboard is designed to be compatible with popular mining chassis (as well as other things).

So there may be a viable route to market in there somewhere for QBT but getting it to work is the essential first step so the results of the live testing remains the only thing that really counts for now.

Zesty - I think you are right, he probably does have a bit of wriggle room if the results are favourable. I'm sorry you felt my comment was negative - I didn't think it was. In fact if anything it is positive given what you say as a failure in testing is much more likely to be sudden and unambiguous and so by my own logic if there is news on testing announced with the results it is much more likely, in my view, to be good rather than bad.

It is quite likely that they will mention testing in the results but I can't imagine it will be anything earth-shattering as a breakthrough didn't sound imminent from the interview (just my interpretation - others will no doubt have a different view). One thing he can't do though is sit on such price-sensitive news just to wait for the results as this would break AIM rules so if there is significant and definitive news on testing that is given with the results it will be because the timings happily coincide.

FG makes ambiguous, unsupported statements that can be interpreted many different ways and that is exactly what everybody is doing - speculating and coming up with theories as to what it all means. There is no right or wrong - just opinion that varies greatly and this will continue until there is real news either way that is backed up with hard evidence. So more of the same I expect for months to come though we will get the results before the end of the June which will at least give something tangible and different to talk about.

Not sure what point you're making KK, I have my doubts and voice them, but at least you're not telling outright lies about me this time so I suppose it's an improvement. Well done :-)

Thank you Zesty and good luck to you too on your investment here as well, after all we both win if the sp soars - though I suspect your investment is bigger than mine so you will probably win a lot more! The other difference is that we just have different levels of optimism about it and clearly I'm not averse to voicing my doubts. I know it upsets some people but equally it annoys me when others make out everything is going swimmingly and can't bear to here a bad word said about the company. Just different outlooks but we want the same outcome in the end.

I said the settlement today was good news (not great, but still good). I have repeatedly said that I believe their cash position is healthy so I don't expect any immediate problems on that front. I have said that if method B does work I believe the sp will quickly exceed 10p and probably much higher.

So yet another false statement from you KK, but hey ho.

No, I am not complaining about anybody disagreeing with me as being abusive as nobody I think has actually disagreed with any of the points I've made about QBT today (or most days actually). Just you usual nonsense about what my motives are, outright lies etc.

I would welcome people disagreeing me and adding to the debate but nobody seems interested and/or capable of it.
