Just because there isn't any news you don't have to make it up.

So an odd statement about revenues made at a conference and that is full of double negatives suddenly has a few on here in a feeding frenzy?

There is STILL no more news yet and certainly nothing to justify the unfounded and misleading statements like 'All the big players must be falling over themselves to strike deals now that can see proven results.', 'it is clear QBT are making huge steps forwards now!' and 'at a conference surrounded by potential partners, who are queuing up for their tech.'

Talk about fluff theories!

Personally, I don't understand why people feel the need to 'defend their stock' as some put it. If you are confident what does it matter what others say especially as you think you'll have the last laugh. Nothing anybody says here makes a blind bit of difference to the outcome and surely it should be just a place to exchange information and discuss opinions?

OK PAS, seriously, here goes - and several reasons at that:

I’m invested - surely enough reason on its own?

I tend to post on boards where I am invested but have less confidence about the outcome - and in particular to counter what I see as senseless, inaccurate and misleading ramping. On shares I am confident on I see no reason to post unless something comes up of particular interest or makes me have doubts.

It is fascinating observing what seems to me to be a slow motion car crash where some people cling on to their belief whilst others, one by one, give up (nickbo1 being the latest). It’s almost a game guessing who will be next…

In any event it is a very interesting topic as they are trying to break the mould and do something seemingly impossible, particularly interesting to me as I hold several other crypto stocks.

It will be even more interesting if I am actually wrong and they succeed so am always looking for something that might suggest that is the case but sadly have yet to see anything like a convincing argument on here or in what FG says.

Of course the obvious question is why am I still invested if I have such a dim view of their chances of success? Two reasons (also given plenty of times before). First, as above, I could be wrong and in that case it becomes very exciting indeed as I believe the rewards will be massive. I’ve even posted my calculations to back this up which rampers such as Jambone were happy to quote repeatedly (albeit out of context). Secondly, they appear to have enough cash for at least 6 months and maybe a year so plenty of time for spikes based on rumours etc. even if there is no ultimate delivery. In fact I’m thinking of doing a top up for this very reason given the current sp!

Of course all the above will just be dismissed as lies, fluff, condescending, pompous, narcissistic or whatever but you asked and it is the truth, is as clear as I can make it and if it's not enough then I really don't know what is or what answer you are looking for?

I didn't answer it as I'm sick of doing so, you (and others) taking no notice and then asking exactly the same question again. Pointless really but if you really want I'll go through the charade all over again?

I can buy at 7.99p at the moment or sell at 7.50p (just tried a couple of dummy trades) so seems no problems buying or selling at the moment, in small volumes at least, but agree the spread is large (though not that unusual for AIM).

I think there is just a lack of interest both ways at the moment as there has been for a while. Needs news or rumour of news I think to get people active.

If a contribution is made that I think is misleading or inaccurate then I try to make it accurate and not misleading (such as when I unfiltered Parker/Jambone briefly yesterday and responded to his dubious comments). If you think I am mistaken on any occasion when I do this please point out exactly where you feel I am going wrong and we can debate it (which is what this forum is for). Or you can just keep generalising and throwing insults. Your choice.

KK - I don’t know if that question was aimed at me by I haven’t said anything about any ‘bad news’ recently. In fact the main issue appears to be that there is very little news at all lately on testing, good or bad, including in today’s results. Hence why everybody is speculating and drawing their own, differing conclusions.

KK - Are you actually going to challenge me on any of the points I raise or just continue with the insults and lies about me?

No - I filter people that either

a) Just talk complete gibberish and will stand by it whatever the evidence or logic as it is quite clear that whatever anybody says they will keep sticking to the same thing and so 'discussing' anything with them just clogs up the board without getting anywhere

or

b) Only post to insult others and never discuss the actual company

Jambone/Parker falls into a). Most others that I've filtered fall into b)

There are plenty of others here I usually disagree with that I haven't filtered - including you. I agree with you completely though that a one-sided echo chamber is useless to all concerned.

Zesty - I put Jambone/Parker back on filter because what he just confirmed just defies belief in my view and so having any discussion with him is just a waste of time. Seems a sensible course rather than banging my head against a brick wall as far as I'm concerned. But if you think that's toy throwing then fine. I won't be reporting your post as I never report any posts and I can't see how it would cause offence to anybody so doubt it will be removed :-)
