I can't see how it would be possible unless they made up a meaningful percentage of that pool (and they don't have the number of machines to do that) which is why I think the only way of testing it is by installing on thousands of rigs belonging to another miner and that would make a noticeable difference if it worked, even in a large pool.

You are right AWL that 0134 cannot be SURE no bitcoin has been mined but it is a bit more complicated than that.

We can be pretty confident that they are not mining BTC using their own machines or else they would already have mined some fractions of BTC even if their methods didn't work at all (they would simply mine at 1x not 2.6x or whatever). That would surely have warranted a mention in the recent results - if not its own PRN. Instead the going concern statement in the accounts said they assumed no revenue at all which would contradict the earning of any revenue already.

What is possible though is that other miners are testing QBT software on their rigs but that QBT are not deriving any income from this. In which case it could be argued they are not mining any BTC (themselves) but equally if this testing is successful and the miners are generating additional BTC by using QBT tech (but still no income to QBT) then could argue they are, in effect, mining BTC.

Nobody knows for sure of course what is going on but, as I say, I think it's a safe bet that they are not mining BTC off their own steam, and even if they were it would be small parts of a BTC from the pool as they simply don't have the hashrate to mine more even with a 2.6x boost (where the benefits would be shared by the rest of the pool anyway).

Aside from flouting AIM rules and treating shareholders with contempt it would also make no commercial sense. If you have a wonder product then publish the results and evidence for all to see and let them come knocking down your door rather than you go tapping on theirs.

Nope. Never been banned. Just bored. Both with the company and this board where most seem to have lost interest whilst the few remaining just repeat the same old things. Until the company actually starts to show evidence they will turn things around the sp will probably continue to hang around this level as it has already done for ages. All eyes now on the interims in a few months time but I suspect it will take a bit longer than that before there are any clear signs of recovery. In the meantime it will be the usual garbage here about MMs, low trading volumes, Shein and how everything will be OK because online sales are doing so well (even though they've been doing well for over a year now).

I am invested so another lie from one of the investors who only want a one-way conversation, rarely actually challenge any points they disagree with and in the absence of news just make things up instead. If you just want an echo chamber for the 'good' posters (i.e. the ones that only have positive things to say) then I'm sure you can create your own private group somewhere and reassure each other continually about how well everything is going. Just be aware though, it won't change the outcome - whatever that is.

Glad you've climbed down Zesty and concede that you've made stuff up based on flimsy logic and that they have not proven their methods work yet. Sorry to hear you've sold your shares though as I think this still has a few larger spikes in it yet, but could be wrong, and of course if they actually do prove method B works then this will rocket to the stars. So your logic is that he's at a conference and because he is saying there is 'lots of interest' then they have 'proven results'? Wow, and you call that 'sound'?

If he has 'proven' it works (your word) AND is communicating that to others (as you suggested) then he is breaking AIM rules. Besides, surely if he has 'proven' the method works surely he would get the best price by announcing this to the market, with his evidence, and starting a bidding frenzy?

And btw if the results are proven, as you described them, then we can expect an RNS very soon to confirm that? Otherwise they would definitely be breaking AIM rules if they've made the big breakthrough and are not telling the market but are hawking it around potential investors.
