That “funding” is represented in shares now quite clearly
He could even transfer the shares to HP
Either way it’s being over hyped
First they’ve got to get him out of uk
Second they have to go through a US legal case
Third he has to be found guilty
Before any action, if any, can head Darks way
Long way to go

His funding was rewarded with those shares so simples

BTW his shares are only worth £120m as of now so not exactly gonna cause too many ripples

1. He’s worth $1B & doesn’t need too sell
2. He only owns 30,761,750 (4.41%) which is nothing compared to the offloads of initial investors & share buy back
3. Even if Pritti lets him go to US the UK court has stated HP will get significantly less
4. If he goes to US he still has the whole extraction & legal to go through
5. He’s not on Darktrace board so it’s a sideline news item
6. If he sold his shares it would only be a 1 day hit like we saw initial investors selling these volumes
7. If he sold there would be no more links to Dark
8. The market seems to have it priced in now we are back to IPO levels
9. Dark have exceeded & raised revenues every quarter

The good news is the judge said HP would get substantially less & im sure Mike has been finding some conservative refurbs etc that will help with Pritti

Yep it sure is low for a tech company but uk investors are generally a bit thick on tech stocks

The guy has a net worth of over $1 billion so he doesn’t need too sell a thing

Also worth noting it was 1854 when they discovered gold & by 1899 were extracting significant amounts. No tech back then, no laser mapping, no high tech drills … just hard labour. Here we are over 120 years later & talking vs doing. Even from 1992-1998 they got it re opened but shut it again. 100% convinced there is more in there but not 100% convinced Alba have the cash or resources to get it out in a profitable way.

They are just late reported trades as no trading occurs out of hours on uk exchanges

They just need to get on with it vs talking

My only disappointment with results is they should have slightly over achieved on revenue vs being slightly under as the guidance was given pre Omicron which indicates they didn’t capitalise on the shortage of PCR globally.

Cash position & zero debt is super strong.
Reduction of 50% PCR in uk no surprise.
DHSC built in for ages now so is moot.

I think we need too see a better outline on the outlook & some confidence from director share buys at this level. If they don’t buy you have to question how much they believe.

Ultimately I think they should get bought out by a larger company who can execute better.

Think it will be the other way around with somebody buying them with their net cash position almost equalling market cap
