Just ticking up on supply and demand metrics. More buyers than sellers. I guess those hoping for a cheaper entry point have to make a decision at some point. Wave good bye and move on or just buy what you can. The story is very good here.

I've no idea re. a fresh Namibian farm in partner. I think it will happen. Cooper is drill ready, the data room is as developed as a data room can be so just a case of company technical experts going over it all and saying up the risk/reward , their own priorities and budget. The likes of Total and Exxon would be an amazing coup to get on board and would prove ECO's thesis re. why Tullow have relinquished. Tullow are still nurse making their accounts tbh. They had a very tough time a couple of years ago and are managing their expenditure and debt burden with a great deal of care.

The key take out from this week is Hess's comments re. Hammerhead. Hammerhead is the biggest discovery off shore Guyana. It is bigger than a billion BOE which is what Liza has.
From ECO, it is 4 km away from Latuk, seismic suggests they are linked/ same structure. Hammerhead has opened up a whole new play. ECO has multiple targets/plays to go for on Latuk. Latuk is just one prospect on the block, all are up dip from Exxon's discoveries. ECO shot seismic way over their blocks boundaries. They did this for good reason, that reason has come clear with the Hammerhead discovery. Exxon very kindly wild catted Latuk for them by drilling Hammerhead. Next year ECO will affectively be appraisal drilling Latuk. The market has not woken up to the fact that ECO effectively has a discovery already.

The SPV will have limited impact economically. All large companies with any US exposure direct/indirect have pulled out of doing any business with Iran. This is a given.
The SPV is designed for SMEs to trade with Iran. WSG is an SME. WSG has worked with/through HMG to secure this contract. System were put in place to facilitate the business. Even before the new Trump sanctions UK banks wouldn't touch Iranian business hence the German subsidiary was set up.
Since the SPV was first mooted it has grown into something bigger. It will now be used by the Chinese and others for larger trade it seems.

I don't know why you keep banging on about the recruitment. As has been pointed out, those adverts have been up for months.

That is why all the banks , insurance companies, suppliers are refusing to handle any Iranian trade and the EU is setting up the SPV to hide trade from the USA, yep, spot on DHC, you're the man.

I was waiting for 40p but got nervous and went for it. It just seems very cheap and it seems the story is slowly getting around. That Scotch bloke from America Bank was the sharpest analyst on that conference call, good questions, right to the heart of the matter. Hammerhead is massive, bigger than any of the others including Liza which has over a billion barrels of recoverable. Clearly Hammerhead and Latuk are linked/the same formation. There are also multiple targets on the same play. A lot to go for. Latuk could easily have a billion barrels all by itself. This would make ECO a billion dollar plus company. Seems daft not to load up whilst these valuations continue.

Good is good, no reservations. It could 'jump the queue' in terms of field development. It's massive, the biggest so far, appraisal well/s next year. Could well be drilling both sides of the fence in Q2

China has stopped all trade with Iran via their banks. During previous sanctions they just carried on.

They are going to channel all trade via the SPV. This is a strategic move. They want to break US control on world money market. A few years ago they tried to have Yen as base currency aka the dollar, it didn't happen, dollar all powerful. This is a new lever. The Chinese only think strategically, everything has a purpose. The fallout between the USA and Europe is an opportunity for them. Interesting times. History could show this was the beginning of the end of US complete control of the world through its financial muscle. I think the USA has overplayed its hand, the EU won't stand for it, watch this space, big things are going to happen.

So much internal politics going on here, utterly hopeless but there may still be some business to be had, airport is being inspected this November . Last time in 2014 they were down graded and bigger planes were forced to land in Botswana. They haven't done much since then, just a last minute panic.

Yep, at least one well. The number of wells to be finalised. Tullow has several other blocks in the region so I suspect they want to drill some of those as well, just a question of what they want to do. Total will be keen to drill several as they have deep pockets. My guess is 2 as part of a 5 well campaign in the region with options to drill more.

He talked about aiming for revenues of $20-30 million in 2 to 3 years. He must be super confident of FDA Approval and fast commercialisation to have those kind of ambitions.
