FFS..........this has been ssssooooooooo boring since that plethora of fantastic news in June and July. Placing commentary at the end of the second Fowler interview killed it and allowed SVS to screw everybody over and now......it's as if nothing is going on...yet,

We know we are having a record year, have got a fantastic second MSC . Both SL and Tema are and will grow organically. We apparently have multiple other MSC irons in the fire....yet he we are, barely registering a pulse.

The Carapa result will affect the CPR as it has a direct read across to the shallower Cretaceous plays in Orinduik. No point re-doing the CPR until the well data from Carapa comes in. As Total and Tullow are partners on the block with Repsol, ECO will get to see all the data.

Carapa well spudded 5/6 days ago, CPR to be published following the Carapa well results which makes good sense otherwise any CPR that came out before the Carapa well result would be out of date in short order. I doubt it will take too long. All the Upper and Lower tertiary work should be done and dusted by the time the Carapa result comes in.

Sorry to see he has died. I met him and had a good chat with him at an AGM a couple of years ago. He seemed a very decent man.

So that's two new massive shipping companies that have elected dock at Tema following the port upgrade. The government should be pleased, they'll get higher revenues form the increased traffic and presumably from less hands in the till...

He has been appointed General Manager of X-ray screening........based at Tema Port. He is normally based in France so clearly is basing in Tema to make sure any technical issues with the scanners get sorted efficiently and quickly. I'm sure he will be a great help in fine tuning the training of the operators .
However, WSG are selling two scanners to a customer in the Far East atm. I'm sure his role will be over seeing this as well. The Far East contract will hopefully be the first of several.
In the mean time Conlon has been appointed to head up the Saudi Arabia office and will be immediately reviewing port security at one port. He has deep experience working in Saudi.......as does Nidal Yavuz.

Looking forward to seeing Peter Fowler pull his head out of that noose before too long. There is clearly a lot bubbling along beneath the surface. Can't wait for them to fully land the Ghana contract and another MSC somewhere else.......I think it is coming, just got to be patient.

This is a fantastic bit of news. It just confirms that the investment in Tema has been justified. From a million TEUs in 2018, the port is clearly growing business. New capacity will be 3.5 million once the fourth berth is finished next year. The Tema port contract is a really nice growth business in itself.

Total apples and pears! The Total deal with Qatar is utterly indecipherable as it is wrapped up with multiple asset swaps and sales between them. the only metric we have for barrels in the ground is the one one Gil quotes which is the value that Exxon gives its barrels in the ground, namely $8.
So, let's call it $5 to cut out some of the hype. I still think we are cheap. All those tertiary prospects de-risked and a whole raft of upper tertiary prospects to be added plus discovered barrels ...........and we haven't got anywhere near the Cretaceous yet.

I don't think we will see the CPR until late November . Gil's time lines were loose and he is not the best at time keeping. Two months from Joe result would be pretty quick work. Happy to be proved wrong mind you!

FWIW, I've got 15m for Hammerhead, 37.5m for Jethro and 12m for Joe................and vast amounts of upside, 500-1 billion fresh prospects in Upper Tertiary, lower tertiary COS greatly improved.

THE VARIOUS CONTRACTUAL ARRANGEMENTS between all the different parties, MPS, Scanport, Westminster and support contractors, ARE AGREED IN PRINCIPLE and Westminster is pleased with the outcome. Contracts are due to be signed once certain financial arrangements between MPS and the port authorities have been put in place, which are in the process of being finalised.

Screening and search operations have been in place since Terminal 3 opened on 28 June 2019 and PAYMENTS ON ACCOUNT TO SCANPORT AND WESTMINSTER FOR WORK UNDERTAKEN ARE BEING MADE, whilst awaiting final contracts execution.

Weird how many people don't understand we are being paid as per the the agreements. Fine tuning and subsequent signing will be sorted once MPS have settled with the unions.
