'The run rate of ships being serviced since then has increased and we are currently averaging 9 per week in Terminal 3. Given that we have been told we are being paid per container,.. then we are looking at fees due on circa 6 months by our financial year end in Dec. If we allow a reduced run rate because of the "soft start up",.. ( I believe I read a figure of July being circa 22,000 TEU's?)....then I imagine July/Aug combined,..might be circa 60,000; with Sept-Dec averaged at 60,000... then that suggests that we will have learnt fees due on circa 300,000 containers in the 6 months to WSG's finial year end next month.

What was 2019's number? From when the port opened, average per month, average per month once up and running?

Clearly the numbers are growing but if you don't have a base line statistic i.e. 2019 numbers and how they were calculated....a growth stat of 59% is somewhat meaningless.

You may have noticed the market has collapsed . footsie 100 down from 7500 to 5200.....1/3 drop...over 30%...and that is for all the big, proper companies with billions of revenue. Considering WSG is an AIM microcap, not doing too badly all considering.

Fear is ruling greed in this market, it will change in a few weeks and there will be one almighty bull market .

Now, MPS and port authorities are sorted. Scanport has signed our overall contract with MPS and now WSG signs off on their contract with ~Scanport. Remember the scope of what WSG does has changed a couple fo times over the past 9 months so a bit of fine tuning on the contract might need to be sorted, however...everything has basically been agreed.

So, the implies, the deal between scan port and Wsg is agreed. Just need someone to go and sign it

Think we will get a load more orders this week. Judging from the press this weekend, there is a long way to go. Peak Corona in the UK is expected in April, probably similar throughout Europe and the USA.

Luckily not our Sheik! Ours is the Crown Prince's mother's brother.........hopefully he stays out of politics and concentrates on business. The Crown Prince's 'economic baby' is the privatisation programme. Airports and ports are at the forefront of this. WSG having partnered so well with a Saudi company is the key to winning contracts. Really hopeful we will win significant business this year from the Saudi subsidiary

They have established an office in SA. They have set up a subsidiary there, they have staffed it.

Yes, tech sales have grown rapidly ever since Stuart Gilbert was appointed a couple of years ago. Great strides have been made, more sales staff employed to deal with all the growing business out there. Margins may not be huge but they are healthy and profitable . The more they sell, the more goes on the bottom line.
I'm hoping to see some lumpy orders before too long, hopefully in Saudi Arabia, where I think they could win an enormous amount of business over the next few years. I'm also hoping they win some more port scanner business ; After all, they raised money and diluted share holders last summer to fulfil that port scanner order. In theory this will put them in good place to win more business out there.
What the company seems to have learned over the years is partnering with the right local business. Asia, Ghana, UAE, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia. It's a winning model. Better to have 50% of something than 100% of nothing! The locals are well connected , know how things work and the authorities are happy as revenue, employment and learning is kept in country. I believe Sierra Leone has only 3 non nationals working at the airport now.
