They are doing this in the midst of oil prices being on the floor...why? Because they are serious players. They know oil prices will be back at $50 next year . In the mean time drilling rigs are idle, rates are plummeting. Now is the time to invest into distressed companies with great assets. Now is the time to drill and develop, rates are low. Produce in 2 years when oil price is way higher and the market has re-balanced.
Think this is a fantastic opportunity its to get in at the ground floor.
Can't wait to see the identity of the syndicate behind Spot on.

You seem to understand this company pretty well. I was lead to believe, back in January, that they were due to sign up with/form some sort of JV with a major Pharma company and this was due to happen some time in H1...any ideas here.

Also , do you think they are getting involved in any way with viruses and Covid19...at least with their human mice if nothing else? Interested in your thoughts?

Worth noting. WSG has been selling this stuff since Ebola days. They have real experience at operating a business whilst a pandemic is going on around them. They had to protect their staff and keep an airport open.
They haven't just jumped onto the Covid19 band wagon, they have genuine skills and experience. They also have a long historical connection with suppliers and the concomitant benefits that go with this.

Down at $540 wish in Rotterdam from the feed I have got which is a right old pain in the xxxx. Company producing well, in mid high season, irritating. At least they got good prices for Feb production which is something. Very frustrating. Roll on a return to normal and the growth into a multi commodity play. Cashews next year in H1 and then what's next on the list. They have always financed things well, they've got a new strategic investor on board who has local roots and a string of qualifications anyone would aspire to. Just got to hang in there and tough this one out. Same across so many sectors at the moment.

Splendid couple of days, long way to go. I think they are doing and will do fantastic business in fever tech stuff this year as the world tries to go back to work..all good. Tema is thriving still and it looks like the fourth berth will be up and running years early which is fantastic.

DHC has lost out on these gains which is heart breaking and most of the knockers/5 % traders are locked out for the time being and will soon be putting the boot in...LOL...nothing ever changes there

No, they have been at premium to NAV. Then they raised money at bought more U308. Now they are at a discount, they buy back their shares as that is the cheapest way to buy more U308....neat!

WSG are not involved in any way in the planning/building or running of a hotel. At no stage have they said they are.

They have tried to help the SL government meet parties that might be willing to invest in SL to build a hotel. That is it..period!

Now you can carry on making stuff up!

Interesting that Mike. From my understanding , they got the extra berth wall length up and running so they could host those huge container ships asap and become part of their routing.

The hotel in SL initiative is interesting. I believe WSG were trying to act as an honest broker between potential Middle Eastern investors and SL. WSG were not going to involved in any way in building a hotel! The lack of a decent hotel is off putting for some airlines flying to Freetown. A hotel in striking distance of the airport would boost tourist numbers and WSG revenues.

That was a decent buy yesterday, good to see. Looking forward to the results and the then trading update.

Whilst the placing is horrible for folks who bought in at .5p, the present price provides an excellent opportunity for new investors. Worth re-reading the RNS.....news re. those companies is coming
