I liked the comment underneath it... I think your numbers are a bit pessimistic but a correction is overdue. Normally a recession or depression requires financial stress - maybe US selling the gold it doesn't actually have and buying dollars is that trigger - maybe the decline of the carbon fueled car is the trigger - who know's eh ? Asian seems to be calling a bounce this week though short term.

Sell what gold ? The total supposedFed reserve adds up to about 20% of their national debt if I remember rightly. The conspiracy theorists say didn't give Germany her gold back on demand because they have no gold in the vaults (if you watch H2 channel you may have heard they gave it all to the ancient aliens - which probably means the Russians LOL).

My thought is that anything that brings forward the threat of renationalisation boosts the share price, but Conrad Corbyn's in out unworkable view on Brexit has made people think again. JMHO.

OK this is nothing to do with SAR but very interesting none-the-less. I know there are good guys and bad guys in all cultures and I am shocked by your safeguarding forecast for Brum. I've suffered a life under pc and postive descrimination which did me no favours and my wife no favours as we are both white Christian and she has never wanted to do a "proper job". So she's had to start doing a proper job and I will be at work till I drop, meanwhile criminals prosper, often under the protection of political correctness. I have worked in tech manufacturing all my life and never never seen unfair sexist or racial descrimation in pay, rank or opportunity - rather the opposite as I say. And positive descrimation just ended up in expensive maternity leaves and the newly promoted naffing off to good jobs outside of manufacturing. I am sure descrimation mainly exists at the high end - BBC, boardroom etc - and the low end - exploitation etc - the folks who have to be cost effective won't do anthing to affect the bottom line - and given their public image - will always bend over to look inclusive and responsible, green and international. To me it is bizarre that these gangs would get away with it. Still waiting for SAR to deliver it's next boom BTW - it will come when we least expect it as is the tradition on AIM.

I called the fall last week the start of a corrction no-one had noticed (the classic sign). I called the ride a bumpy one which would have false dawns - we've seen one - EW theory would predict at least another one. I am not yet feeling confident about buying the dips - HL had an interesting article on their newsroom saying the complacency in the market was driven by the buying of dips - didn't work this time. Finally remember the Buffetism - buy when there's blood on the street. There is no blood on the street yet ! People are stil touting contrarian stances - even here. Remember another one "it's different this time" but it never is. Therefore I'm not rebuying yet. how much has the stock market risen since QE first started (100%) ? What else has changed (the days of free trade and global co-operation have gone awol) ? What are P/E ratios in some market segments ? I don't want to be a profit of doom but do the maths ? Only one comodity is truey undervalued - gold. Everything else is in a bubble. I don't think gold is going to become more expensive because some groups and governments. However balance must return... JMHO
