If you get free education, healthcare, and grants, and we don't, we will also end up paying our share (something like 80%) of that cost, and something like 90% of that will come from workhouse poor folk because they pay tax, whereas rich people don't as we all know. Its not based on prejudice, its based on 18 months of living in Glasgow. I noted how differently the rest of Scotland voted from Glasgow in the Scottish vote, so am aware you may not be all anti-English. I also wondered if that vote was an anti-Gasgow vote strangely enough. I have to say on holiday trips to the rest of Scotland, all the people I've met have not appeared to be anti-English - but that could always be a biased sample. The fact remains, free tution, free medical, and grants, and a government that is prepared to invest in hydro and wind etc. A far better deal than we get, and Wales, and Ulster. That's not prejudice, that's fact.

Are you from Uster or Eire ? The reason I ask is I've never even visited the Ulster or Donegal, but of course lived through all the US backed terrorism of the dark days in the UK. However I find myself thinking the unthinkable that econmically there's only one good option for Ulster now. It won't happen, but I find it extraordinary to conclude it would be better for them if it did.
