Good old Trump eh... I've been exploring LSEs news pages today - never used them enough really - and on the financial news page is a chart for the FTSE 100 until 21:00 yesterday - up at 7275. I've never looked at this before. Bloomberg have FTSE100 futures at 7174.5 16:30. Are these post bell futures from US ? Am I understanding this correctly ?

Yep - I think what this is about to prove is that these things are not revealed until it is too late to do anything about them... expect a bounce there soon IMHO - but I got the last 2 correct - FTSE did end down yesterday - and last time we saw gloom and doom predicted for the US stocks they rallied as soon as the UK market shut...

Gold and bitcoin - the worthless - up. Anything to do with economic activity down. I agree deal could happen but I don't see a rally today... JMHO.

Yep the company has money. This is part of its assets. It buys it's own shares and destroys them. There are now less shares in the market, but the company also has less money - so waste of time.

This thing is like a FTSE tracker with a beta of about 4x. Large spread. Invariably falls in the morning and jumps up at lunchtime. The only thing that worries me is the market cap vs nav. It was high when it was 120-140% but since 2018 it has risen to 200% and only pulled back this week to 180%. It's a great trader and I know there are lots of unlisted holdings including the LT group itself but I will never be heavily invested in here until someone can justify to me the market cap vs the low nav. It just doesn't make sense.

No stamp duty when you buy the shares, and less taxes.

tbh this share has stressed me so much I can't bring myself to add - shows how little confidence I have left in the guys who run it.

Bio degradable plastics are no good either - thin slivers of plastics - exactly the ones harmful to wildlife - and plasticisers - all female amphibian populations and mammals with testicular cancer epidemics. Even paper isn't green. Bags for life.Yes - aka shopping bags. That's the answer.

Looking promising I have to say

LTH as I am, it was all expected news but it wasn't that great, so shorts will be in to run this down for a while. I love the way they delayed their move. Chart says bottom around 1.15 for a top up in about 2 weeks so the usually agonizingly slow process.

don't consider him a positive role model - just the one most hard line Brexeteers seem to base all their ideas upon.

Maybe the money came out of a bank..?
