I thought the FTSE100 and FTSE250 were just subsets of the FTS350 - in which case - they would have to each be in 2 of ... Would stop mainpulation. I'm having a flutter in DEBs at the moment - manipluated to hell. I also quote the DJI diging until the moment the FTSE shut two Mondays on the trot before Christmas , then rising straight back to parity after the FTSE closed. Now that's what I call manipulation. The only reason for a rise can possibly be that the funding has somehow been sorted and those in the know know. This will be why TW kept this as a hold. If we don't get whispered to - the next best thing is to watch what someone who does is doing. Maybe we'l do a WSBN - diamond RNS spike - placing crash - spike - crash wobble wobble.

And despite their horrible placing and ever declining sp, they inexplicably have TW and the share prophets on their side... It's a funny old world full of vested interests and bias.

Housing market is starting to fall. Gold is starting to rise. Oil is not likely to go lower than 2018 low without capacity turning off - maybe that's the catalsyt. And that's why I don't know whether to be contrarian or trending on this. I think until news it may be best to keep a constant weighting and therefore be proportionally contrarian - it's just a game afterall - no one share should ever mean the difference between wealth and ruin. That's the definiton of over-weight.

Yep and 1 pound is 4.72 shekels so they are slihtly below us accoring to my excell spreadsheet. Early days thouh. I agree - time to do the sum is Monday pre-open - which I am sure someone will.

Whispers will come before the announcement - you all know that - 2 hours behind is probably better because whispers will come later in the day. News will be impossible to trade on one way or the other... I think Tuesday after markets clase as well. I'm not sure whether play the movements tomorrow and Tuesday in a contrarian or a tranding mode. I'll see how I feel.

1p a week is too slow for most to notice - so I don't think its unrealistic - but I expect we'll et shakes along the way.

As I said - yopu have to read what the gurus say - watch the price movements and news - and work out what they mean. Knowing where the price will end up one day is part of it - but none of us really do. Understanding what the big money is doing in the short term and why is very useful I once did a massive exercise tracking every listed share on the LSE on spreadhseet ofr months and applying all the differnet models. I found the two strongest correlations where the "next day" rule and the "100 day rule". The 100 day rule has much credence and some logic but the next day rule surprised me. The number of times I see a share jump massively then step back the next day makes me think it woud be wrong to follow a 1 day trend - but that's not hwat my impartial analysis found - quiet the opposite. However the BB candlesticks do seem to work if tempered by the 100 day rule and the openy available sentiment as expressed on bill boards. In short I have concluded what a share does tomorrow is all about feeings and double dealings, what a share does next quarter is best indicated by how the company did this quarter. I condluced research helps with stock picking - but sentiment is always stronger in the short term. JMHO

Put half in one and half in the other if you are that confident (I am in both). When one doubles - take half and stick it in the other one. Its not difficult - you uarentee more than half the final compounded ain and a better gain if you hadn't traded at all - also if one retraces a bit - and retraces on these two are commonplace - but they do both multibag - you end up even better off.

The trouble is the rich people who persuaded the poor people to vote away their jobs and workers rights to make the ricjh people richer knew immediately how stupid the decision was and how the poor people whould one day wake up to the fact. Therefore they started this hate war of its a democracy so you don't et another vote, and remoaner, and how many votes do you want. The fact is we won't get a second vote - that would be far to logical, far sighted and democractic - but most importantly - it wouldn't suit the rich people.
