I dont see why actually - its not seasonal flu - we get a flu a year but we've never had a covid before and no - I don't think it lives in the wildlife community - so it may crop up several times a year from now on or only once every few years. Will it crop up agaon, well it lurks in cats, bats and pangolins as far as people know so it will eventually. If it comes up every year from now on - the argument against it being man made is much weakened, but it;s hardly strengthened if it doesn't come up every year - it came up once with no natural precursor - that says it all.

LOL - just hold a fixed weight in your portolio of all your holdings based upon how much confidence you have in each one. That way you can let your autotrades do the trading - if this doubles I sell half, if it halves I double up. Only if I lose confidence in it will I sell out. If you don't trade the ups and downs you don't reduce the risk. If you don't reduce the risk, sooner or later most AIM stocks will betray you with a placing or bad news from left field. JMHO. But all this talk of ramping and deramping does my head in because the answer is simple. This is 3% of my holding - my second highest single share holding. When it doubles I sell half because I don't want it to be 6%of my holding. When it halves I double up at twice the price. The more volatile a stock is, the quicker it derisks if you have faith to be strong and the good fortune to pick winners. My holding here is derisked and I will continue to give it such weight as long as I continue to ave such great confidence, but I will benefit from the volatility and if more long term holders just did the same, it wouldn't fly up and down like a demented yoyo - but please don't listen to me because how am I supposed to take on anything but risk if you're not waggling the price up and down again ?
