If the trading update isn’t going to be in April as per the 26th March RNS they should put out another RNS now telling us when it will be. Many other companies do this. Terrible communication and management of expectations again.

Just watched the presentation. CB wouldn’t invest unless he thought he could make money here but I’m afraid his presentation was full of bull**** and showed poor judgment. $250m for Mankayan is just nonsense and he has made himself a hostage to fortune that will undermine his credibility. Having said that I would take $15m for Mankayan. But the worst of it is his ongoing faith in Read Kirby and Shapiro, These are all useless turds who have been associated with nothing but failure at BZT and should be flushed down the toilet forthwith. Come CB cut these losers and then sell Mankayan.

Disagree. If Wales offer IONA with all the litigation uncertainty it says a lot about the future of IONA in the UK and the potential for a settlement. But who knows why the rise today, I don’t even know if Wales are offering IONA!

This is an absolute shambles. LR and the other directors who were in post when we bought and developed Choco simply cannot keep their jobs, their positions are untenable. What a disgrace, I thought we would get much more money and a share of future profits. How long to wait for concrete news on Mankayan and Eureka, could be bl00dy years.

In my view if Premaitha officially say April in an RNS that’s what we should all be expecting and not the date included in an unofficial investment report. As you say only 3 days to go.

I just hope it’s good news and they release it next week and not on 30th April, which would really hack me off! The last RNS said April so I am expecting it in April, not May as per Hardman.

On further reflection and reading note 30 of the latest Annual Report, I don't think we should get too excited about the 50p options. Of the 36.2m options outstanding at 31/3/17 it seems only 2.1m of them have an exercise price of 50p (most of which expire in March 2019). It seems that the majority of the rest have exercise prices of between 10p and 20p. So I guess the directors would be broadly happy with a takeout price over 20p! As would I!

One more year to go for them to get their options at 50p. Worth the wait I think after all we have been through.

Is your assessment of Choco based on fact or assumption because we have failed so far to find a partner?

It begs the question why they did not tell us of this before ie rolling submission and fee waiver? Some PIs will have lost out because of this poor communication.

I still believe we should be seeking a court imposed settlement. Does anyone know why this would or could be worse than withdrawing from the UK? At the end of the day it will be a cost-benefit analysis but to my mind the costs of damaged reputation, redundancies, office and facility closures, compensation to customers and litigation risk from customers must surely outweigh paying a license fee to Illumina.

What a load of all *******s as usual from Read. The last RNS was completely unsatisfactory. Little progress on Choco and a pivot to copper. Absolutely useless.

Why can we not seek a court imposed settlement i.e. pay Illuminas legal costs and a 10% license fee? Why is that off the table? We should not have to withdraw from the UK market. I agree a sale is now inevitable, I just can’t see it being anywhere near 25p. Unless there is a gentleman’s agreement with TF who are the only buyer really. I’m going for 12p max.

Totally agree Bakky. This is a damning judgment on the incompetence of Little Hextall et al. They complain of delay but were causing the delay, they didn’t seem to investigate any relevant patents before launching the IONA test etc. This is crushing when it comes from a judge. We need to settle sell and move on as flipper said before. The BOD’s credibility is shot to pieces and they should probably resign. They have played this like amateurs and taken us with them. The judgment went against Illumina this time on a technicality but the judge clearly left the door open for a future claim from Illumina that they will inevitably pursue. All of this should have led to an RNS this week. This is another black mark. The BOD must go. Settle sell and rinse I think flipper said. That’s what we need on Monday. It’s all over now, we have to wave the white flag.

I seriously think there is no real interest in any of our assets and we are being spun a yarn. Why on earth can we not seal a deal for Choco? Why the feck would someone put their equipment on the site without being given the contract? It’s a load of old b0ll0cks. And the strategic review is flawed and misguided. Choco has to come first not copper. Losers the lot of them, and sadly I am one too by association with them!
