The only rationale I could see being used for any further delay is that the buyer has pushed the date back again. Really hope this excuse isn’t used.

Aye it's definitely been painful here - was always going to be with Amit at the helm. We're very close to a positive outcome now - it will be J&J and we'll have to wait up to Friday the 20th of October (if I've understood the poorly worded communication correctly) to see the confirmation. Within the recent update were: the title: 'Final Commercial Update' & text stating that cloudtag: 'has received confirmation (of the announcement date) from the buyer'. He's given himself less & less wiglle room with every update so I sincerely hope that this is the last of the surprises / delays. Less than two weeks now - could be sooner so not long to wait.

Well an American flag has popped up on amit's webpage a day before the daap sale announcement deadline which to my mind means there's a significant chance that it'll be announced tomorrow that J&J (American-registered) who have previously bought businesses owned by the Ben Haim bros have just executed on an agreement to buy ctag & the IP in full for $275m further to the announcements on the company website. Dapp sale monies to join the licence sale monies in escrow which will then be paid to shareholders over the next 4 weeks.

Quite happy with the positive sentiment the starts & stripes are bringing to the ctag website this evening. non-holders can suck it. :D

Please enlighten us with your take as to why you think Amit has updated the webpage with an American flag on the penultimate day before the announcement.

He loves a curveball does Amit. I still believe this is deal is going to happen but as you say, could be another tactic to afford a little more time - really hope i'm wrong & he + the buyer just announce it tomorrow.
