RE: Suspension and CLN22 Nov 2024 21:15
Boring Boy, "I am much smarter than you give me credit for" well it wouldn't take much.
This really says it all, your raison d'etre.
This is not about RRR and all that good stuff but that just can't abide being shown up.
ACA: if you had anything about you, you would be FCA and not ACA. I deal with FCAs on a daily basis and they don't come up with the drivel that you do.
What was that about you being involved with Coventry Building Society deal? Are you Rachel Reeves with deep voice?
To give you an idea Boring. I am involved in a world beating technology company, not going to tell you who because being the obsessive you are you will just try and cause problems. They are about to sign deals with leading multi nationals and I am involved in discussing valuations, valuation methodology and value inflection points. I also discuss funding structures and funding sources explaining the limitations of different funding sources.
No, they are not chasing contracts or deals: they have people knocking on their door. It is about maximising the exit and the timing. The FCA involved is all ears because it is not his area
Again, not to make you feel small because I know you did serious money in Zephyr but I put £130k in and it should be a 15x 20x. Who knows but there or there abouts. The issue is whether to do the funding for mass production and take 50x 100x down the road and be locked in for several years with a load of risk or take the 15x 20x now-ish: likely Q1/Q2.
I will make decent money out of RRR and you might make the price of a decent Sunday lunch in London. Why? Because I don't have the ACA mentality and I will take risks. If it doesn't work out, that is just the way it goes. I was discussing FML with one of the other guys: I said to him, anyone who is willing to do this has serious mental issues. We laughed and did the deal.
Bottom line mate with your £250 investment mentality is you just don't get it. I do decent monies and if it goes wrong c'est la vie.
