The future in the UK as things stand offer no opportunities to move forward. The UK government are presently wholly against UK oil and gas, the level of activism prevents planning success and to rest on our laurels would not be in shareholders interests in the long term. It would be very easy to sit back and rely on the UK revenues.

I would be more concerned about a placing for Wressle or West Newton decommissioning.

What yesterday's devastating RNS for Union Jack Oil Plc failed to state was the discount price.

Shares opened at 8 25p on 22/7 and after the forward sellers had finished, it closed at 7.66p

So that's a discount of 35% 😲
