Thanks for the replies - my concerns re electrodes is that we may need to go through more longevity testing if they are different but there has been no mention of the S model electrodes so perhaps we assume they are the same. Certainly the sizes are different but there would need to be complete contact between the electrode and membrane for it to be the most efficient replacement for the coverage liquid electrolyte so assume the coating (originally black goo) is applied in a very uniform layer. All very interesting stuff and very much not my field of expertise!

I have to say I don’t get that! If both L and S can accept lower grade hydrogen what is the purpose of scrubbing lower grade H2? Perhaps they are talking lower than 3 9s?

This may be a daft question but will the electrodes that have been tested to ~4 years longevity still used in the S cell alongside the new membrane?

It does sound like the (S) is their strategic product so in theory they will phase out the (L) over time - I didn’t get the impression they needed both longer term.

Sounds like the target EV charger will be using (S) cells so I wonder if this will impact initial sales of the (L) version? I hope AFC would provide favourable terms for conversion.

I’m sure AFCs work on longevity will stand us in good stead here and Gencell are just helping form the market we will benefit from.

The share price was dropping even when we got regular updates - this was and still is due to a lack of product in the market. News blackouts don’t help but it’s not the main contributing factor.

Anything to do with Southern will need to come out via RNS, not just to the shareholder group.
