I’ve raised a ticket on the issues we’re seeing with disappearing messages - has anyone else? If not perhaps worth spending 2 minutes to fill the form in as they may then do something about it.

Isn’t this what Alkamonia will ultimately prove for AFC - whether this is viable? Also note you can order a Gencell now but it won’t be installed until mid 2019 so perhaps they aren’t as ready as they claim? Perhaps that’s normal timescales for delivery of products such as this though.

Why do you say 80% Echoes?

The Gencell requires maintence every year or after 500 hours (c20 days) running - whichever comes first. I’m not sure what that maintence entails but if it’s new electrodes then it’ll likely be costly.

Assuming Gencell use a cracker too, with our far superior longevity and lower cost the AFC package should still be lower than theirs. We can also output 10kw to their 5 so can support a wider market if there is a demand for higher kw backup system.

Interesting to see from the doc BB posted that the requirement was for 3-5kw output yet AFCs smallest is 10kw (or just under as it turns out for longevity reasons). I assume 3-5 is to satisfy the needs of the mast some could turn it down further for even greater longevity and cost reduction?

Thanks for the clarification - I was starting to worry I really don’t know anything about the product I’ve put my money on... Lots of change since in the stack and electrodes since the project started. Sounds like a project management nightmare. Interesting that there are already fuel cell systems out there to buy for backup power using crackers, so what will this project actually prove?

Is the AFC Energy fuel cell the only one being used in project Alkamonia? If so which stack and electrodes are they using?

I wouldn’t be relying on any of ABs promises Silures - his track record recently hasn’t been good!
