Southern deal yes but the EV chargers are separate to this and are to be sold, at least that’s the way I understood it.

Do you think anyone will buy one without a warranty? Perhaps they will offer a 12 month one given recent tests.

If the EV charger is going to be on sale this year then it must mean the warranty for the electrodes is imminent as it can’t be sold without one?

Jgbb - the benefit we’ve gained is that the share price is still above zero and has far more potential than before, even if it is still far below many of our averages!

Setting your sights high then - I’m sure someone will be more than happy to take your shares as it motors past 8p and beyond (wishful thinking).

At least if warranted you’ll get a replacement if it fails before the period is up! Good from a customer perspective - not so from DeNora’s...

Also reading it that it is because of the upcoming new improvements DeNora may extend the JDA. This suggests at some point they won’t but then will all future improvements be with AFC alone?

That is what’s lacking for me is when they will be happy - I thought that would be when they extrapolate to 4 years, which they have done now.

Still - great news they have done this and a milestone we needed to make.

What would be interesting to know is that state the electrodes will be in after 4 years. The rate of degradation improves over time which I take as a slowing of degradation but at some point they must drop off to a point they need replacing. Hopefully after 4 years they are still producing an acceptable amount.

On the initial point of why we are not going straight for mass production I think this would only start once the first 25tpd plant has been proven. David Ryan didn’t want to look past that for now so there must still be some concerns about whether it all hangs together once scaled up. He did however say the would then go to 35tpd so confidence must be quite high.

I took it as the unpurified syngas being around 50% hydrogen, but my memory may not be serving me well on that number.

No argument there - you’ll need a pelletiser for he feedstock too...
