It is what it is. Nothing significant has changed - the things that ANGS must achieve by the two 90 day separated drop-dead dates are the same as they've always been. If it achieves both - happy days. If it doesn't - really not so rosy at all.

As I've said, I don't find the current pre-(E)GM spike unexpected in the least. The SP level once George gets his new authority will be interesting.

As some may remember, I did muse yesterday as to the likelihood of a manufactured spike just prior to the imminent (E)GM, where George is seeking (and will no doubt get) the authority to issue the second swathe of newly created shares (plus all warrants) to Aleph in exchange for the 2nd £3 million.

As I said yesterday, the influx of new and re-appearing IDs was already telegraphing that clearly. As has this morning's RNS - re the latter, for those of a genuine disposition, my advice is to pay very careful attention to the careful choice of language used.

Despite the above, it still all depends on ANGS getting enough gas out before the Jul 1st drop-dead date (now also George's chosen term) and then getting the required increase in production out by the Oct 1st drop-dead date. Do that and they'll be fine.

As long-term ANGS watchers will know, it's so important to pay very careful attention to the choice of language used any ANGS RNS.

I note that in todays' one, although they have "advised contractors" of a target date for sidetrack spudding, they have not mentioned if the sidetrack will or can be a "SIMOPS" operation.

They've simply stated that they've "completed the risk assessment" and have entirely failed to mention what that showed with regard to SIMOPS being possible or not.

Someone said 25% up before opening? Hardly.

People really should by now know to look out for phraseology in ANGS RNSes, such as "...working towards a target..." and "...has advised of..."

It remains painfully simple. Provided that full production meeting George's hoped-for volumes is achieved by July 1st latest and provided that a successful production-doubling sidetrack is achieved to kick in by October 1st latest, ANGS will do very well indeed. If either of the above (and especially the sidetrack) are not achieved, they really won't.

SV, that's just plain wrong. The hedge hasn't changed at all. It's just that ANGS is now solely responsible for it, just as it now is responsible for all the borrowings and just as it is now the sole beneficiary of whatever nett revenues the field produces.

That "70% of everything unhedged" comment of George's is a little hard to decipher and seems to refer to revenue over the expected entire lifetime of the field.

However, the simple bottom line as far as the next three years is concerned is simply this:-

Without a successful sidetrack, 97% of forecast production has been hedged over the next three years..

With a successful and production-doubling sidetrack kicking in from October 1st, then 51% of forecast production has been hedged over the next three years.

So RT003 allegedly has £38.2k at 0.87p... that's about 4.4 million shares by my reckoning. Which gives him roughly a fifth of one percent of the current shares in issue (and that infinitesimal percentage is about to decrease even further following the imminent (E)GM)...

Even if true, that is so far below the radar as to not be worth mentioning. And that's meant to give him some mystical access to Inside track info? That sort of holding wouldn't even merit being on ANGS's automatic Christmas card list.

Mind you RT003 has a track record of being rather a fantasist. He's claimed at least twice that he's been sent bottles of average quality scotch (all the way to the Philippines, apparently) by posters on this BB.

Silverlight, agreed if you're prepared to invest the time and attention into short-term trading and/or top slicing..

Small cap O&G companies have always been the darlings of those into quick flipping and ANGS has proven (so far, at least) to be no different at all.

Back in March 2020, Saltfleetby was indeed many months away from starting production (in fact 27 months and counting).

Unfortunately, the ANGS board was still issuing RNS updates - including in in May 2020 - predicting that first gas would be reached by Q4 that year, which turned out to be not a particularly helpful thing to have done.

I think it was actually Jack Nicholson you refrained from quoting, Silverlight. I've had recourse when posting on ANGS to use the self-same quote.

Silverlight, just spotted your post. Sure, it's absolutely reasonable for anybody to question anyone's motives or agenda for posting. However, surely that becomes pretty much entirely irrelevant when compared to post content, provided that content is factually evidenced? After all and as I am sure you agree, facts remain facts, regardless of who highlights them or why.

My own interest in ANGS extends back 3 and a bit years and I'd hope that I am reasonably well-researched on the company. Yes I am an ex-investor, but I remain an interested one.

BV, I'm not intending to have any effect on the company and strongly doubt that anything posted on any investment BB does produce any effect on any company.

I'm simply putting forward a hopefully reasonably researched and hopefully factually evidenced point of view for people to take some note of or utterly ignore as they wish.

If I were to go along with your just expressed opinion (which I don't), it would be fair to say that anything at all posted on a BB is pointless and an utter waste of time, regardless of its positivity or negativity.

I personally believe that people are best armed with facts and (as I have said before) that counter-opinions, provided they are well-justified, are the most useful of all.

BV, like many here (both invested and not invested) I have zero confidence in the existing management (and the reasons for that are completely obvious to everyone). So no, not while they're at the helm, come what may.
