Dougb, actually I shamelessly stole the "deja vu... all over again" gag from US baseball legend Yogi Berra. I generally hate making assumptions - but given the fact that too many posts are almost unintelligibly obscure (let alone full of the most appalling grammar and punctuation that sets my teeth on edge - but I freely admit to being OCD in that respect), I all too frequently don't get the choice. Hence my recent pleas for people to please clearly and plainly post what they mean - I really hope that the number of Vienna posts declines rapidly. Oh... a Vienna post? It I the only fair way to do things." So, taking a poll on what resolutions might want included has been part of the proposal FROM THE VERY START... IT'S NOT A NEW THING AT ALL. (Thought I'd join in with the use of CAPS - except mine are used to refer to evidence). Which then begs the obvious question... WTF has all the last 4 weeks of utter misleading, confusing and misdirected BS been about? (That copy n paste thing can be useful on occasions, no? Anyhow...) K27M, I must admit that the 10 week rigidly digital deadline raised a smile for me too. I extrapolated it forward a little, picturing the scenes at 23:58 at WM's house on June 30th... everyone wearing happy smiles and "I heart ABH" tee shirts, posters of Amit up all over the walls and garlanded with flowers... then 2 minutes later, the midnight bell tolls.. everyone immediately changes into black sackcloth and ashes, tee shirts and posters are ripped away, and the wailing and gnashing of teeth start... Odd to say the least? It's almost as if a promise has been given (again)... I imagine however that there may be wiggle room left in the use of the word "tangible" in the phrase "tangible evidence". One man's (or woman's) "tangible" is another man's "latest load of self-serving ubstance-free hot air and puff"... We'll just have to wait and see. Yet again the clock ticking... perhaps we should have sort of web-based countdown counter to July 1st? Hang on... I suddenly have the strangest feeling of deja vu.... all over again? ATB all.

So in an effort to be brutally simplistic, what we seem to have is this: Moss says to anyone who'll listen:- "Amit's a mismanaging disaster who's completely useless. Appoint me to be CEO - I know what I'm doing." ABH says to anyone who'll listen:- "Moss is disruptive and damaging who's completely useless. Stick with me as CEO... I know what I'm doing." (At this point, a cynic might say there's clearly no honour amongst thieves... anyway) To both of which I'd bet your average PI's response would be: "I couldn't give a rat's a$$ at the moment. I just want and believe I have a right to some independently verified clarity on what we've now got, where we now are, where we're now going and how we're now paying for it. Only once I know all that, will I start thinking about any next steps that may be appropriate." Isn't it literally no more complicated than that?

Erm... again, what's Alon Moss got to do with an EGM with as yet unspecified resolutions? What on earth does that prove - apart from the fact that a disgruntled ex-employee (whether he's got a legitimate axe to grind or not) would really really like to be CTAG CEO? Presumably he'll have his own agenda in wanting this, but that's beside the point... it's irrelevant and not on the table. As I posted before, it's not like this is something that can be snuck in surreptitiously via the back door...

WM, with respect, you're wrong in what you say. If ABH has committed fraud or other offences, that must have happened back when the company was listed and funds were being raised from PIs. Not since that point. Fraud (as opposed to mere lying) has to have the basis of obtaining financial gain by deception. And ABH (to my knowledge anyway) has not attempted in general at least to raise money from the wider PI body since delist. Plus there's the point that the company is now delisted and CI incorporated. Therefore far less regulation and obligation to disclose - let alone truthfully so - now apply. It's not today's "fibs" that would cause any "terribly grim" outlook - it's the ones (if any) made while PI funding was still being raised. Today, there's no obligations on him at all - he can blithely spout anything he likes without fear of recrimination or consequence. You could instead highlight a different and possibly more tenable point - namely, if it is all a charade, why would ABH still bother? Answers to that could include:- a) because it's not a charade (but just cackhandedly mismanaged and misdirected for the first few years). b) because he's looking to preserve his reputation (such as it is) in business. c) because he doesn't want an investigation into the company accounts. There will undoubtedly be other possible answers.

I'm pretty sure that K27M has already answered that one more than once - but hey, over to him. I'm tired of conceptually arguing in favour of things that in reality I believe to be pointless.

I'd say that the most beneficial reason to call an EGM is to achieve - as much as is possible - reliable clarity for PIs - which is a completely reasonable thing to want. Is there something that is commercially leverageable there or is there nothing at all? But hey, I'm the worst person to ask. My justifying calling an EGM is merely my playing major devil's advocate. Rightly or wrongly, I've already come to my firm conclusions on ABH and CTAG, so to me an EGM is a complete waste of time.

DougB, I actually didn't suggest a historical analysis of what's happened to PI funding, but rather an appraisal of where the company's now at, financially speaking, what its strategy now is and the value of whatever IP it now has. All of those things are "now and future" looking, rather than retrospective. (Okay so I personally might take a very brief look to see whether there'd been any historical use of funding to cover off expenditure on hookers and coke for example, but that wouldn't be a necessity). K27M's acceptance of the futility of looking to see where PI's funds previously probably got p*ssed up the wall is both brutally reasonable and bitterly pragmatic - although he's more forgiving than I. Nevertheless, the truism that "we are where we are" - however hard and jagged a thing that is to swallow - would very definitely seem to apply.

Erm... two teeny things. "...the company issues a completely honest RNS..." That's hardly something to praise the company for. It's their obligation.... no, wait, you're right. This is AIM, therefore there's normally no need for the slightest honesty, let alone complete honesty, to be included in any RNS, unless things are at the utmost desperation point.. "...a completely honest RNS stating what we already know..." Sorry, but there was teensy piece of fairly important new news in said RNS, namely that the company needs $50m + $40m by end of June to keep the lights on, even after D4E. That's just a tad significant and new revelation, no? None of the above is meant to suggest that AVN will finally fall by the wayside come Q3, but hey, let's at least get the facts right.

...are probably depressing SSW's share price. AVN is a satellite fleet operator and major supplier to SSW, but one that's staggered many (including me) as to how it's managed to stay in business for this long. For years it's had a massive debt mountain, where the annual interest payable on such exceeded annual REVENUES (yes, revenues, not profits). They looked like they'd dodged a bullet at the back-end of last year when they looked like they'd persuaded the major bondhoiders to accept a debt for equity swap (causing a 13-fold dilution of existing shares). However.... On Monday this week out comes an AVN RNS that states that, even after the D4E swap goes through, they STILL need an additional US$90m by June this year, or they'll declare insolvency. The SP is unsurprisingly through the floor (now 4.8p and market cap now �7.6m). Although SSW are by no means entirely dependent on AVN, this is going to cause unrest and uncertainty, especially as far as its UK revenues (c 33% of total) are concerned. AIMO

Since that's been posed, I'd say that most PIs haven't got an earthly what half of what's posted is referring to most of the time? All this he said, she said, yes you did, no I didn't, know wot I mean, nudge nudge wink wink, word to the wise, fnar fnar LOL ROFL BS? It's both bizarre... and a bit sad, IMO. I don't know why people can't - or won't - just say categorically and unmistakably what they mean, instead of making all these veiled allusions? Alternatively, if you really do get a kick out of thinking you're some self-styled keeper of the secrets, go join the bloody masons.

Salient facts indeed? I think you'll find that those are merely your opinions, Dougb. Facts and doubts are mutually exclusive. But of course you of all people should already be able to recognise the difference between fact and opinion... or supposition, no? One would hope so - after all this morning's hobby-horse for you has been to roundly criticise those who you saw (wrongly as it happens, but no matter) as presenting supposition as fact... Irony indeed. Here's a clue... "irony" doesn't mean "a bit like iron".

This is hardly shock news... it's an opinion. That's made abundantly clear by his use of the word "seems". Again indeed as you state - " 'supposition' is a belief held without proof, or certain knowledge". I of course agree - that's a concise defiition of the meaning. And thus supposition - a belief held without proof or certain knowledge - forms the only reason as to why PIs have faith in ABH and CTAG - or not. There are however clearly discernible and incontrovertibly provable facts to be found within CTAG's history revolving around the accuracy - or not - of numerous assertions made by its CEO that some might say would lend weight to the "supposition" of those with a more jaundiced (and in my view, realistic) point of view. However as before, pick your own supposition-based potato - they're the only variety in stock.

Tsk tsk Dougb. No sauce involvement and I stand by my opinions as expressed - no doubt much to your displeasure, but hey it's a semi-free world.. I certainly didn't see any note of caution expressing that things may be hype (a very wise caveat in my view, given CTAG track record) in any post or poster to whom/which I was specifically alluding. Re AbMan, I have (surprise, surprise) a darker opinion - especially with a view to his visible actions from Q3 2016 onwards. Additionally on CTAG I have it on fairly reliable authority that there were attempts made by him to persuade other to help spread stories on cast-iron proof of imminent incoming revenues that did not in fact exist at all - but that is of course 3rd party information, so to be taken with a pinch of salt. However, I did note the exact same modus operandi on RLH, COPL and NFX (to name but a few) being employed by said bulletin board legend - and that certainly reinforced my own views. However, all largely irrelevant now, given where things have already fallen.

Morning DougB. I must admit that I was fully expecting to see you appear riding over the hill on a white charger to weigh in and smite the unrighteous - and bless you, you didn't disappoint. I don't as a rule tend to post on a kneejerk basis and as such am more than happy to stand by my considered opinion as posted. Others - including yourself - have every right to differ and I (unlike some notables) am always heartened to see counter points of view being expressed. Eternally identical opinions are as boring as they are valueless. One teeny correction for you though. I have no "consternation" (as you put it) at whether an EGM is called or not - you'll already know my views as to how effective one would be at this stage and why. Nor do I believe for a second that one person is "stopping" an EGM being called, as you somewhat oddly claim. Sure, there are many who don't want an EGM to be called for a variety of reasons - but how could "one person stopping" possibly be the case? Nope, I would simply like PIs to be able to view a range of views, take to heart or discard as they wish and then make their own minds up as to what to do for the best. And if - as with Redtrescero - some are categorically brandishing "evidence" of something big going on in the background for CTAG, but others after a modicum of due diligence research on said "evidence" judge it to be misinterpreted and substance-free, then I see no harm in counter opinion being expressed... quite the reverse in fact. I'd hope you agree that all sides of a debate should be heard - especially in view of the fact that CTAG's chequered history is literally bursting with wildly inaccurate claims - from both the company and its fans - that turned out to be utter self-serving and PI damaging BS. But hey, feel entirely free to differ...

Looks to me like the latest and ever-increasingly desperate attempt by the disciples of St. Amit to "prove" that something big - no, honest - is going on in the background has been shown to be as substance-free as all other CTAG/ABH smoke and mirrors pronouncements. Really? A throwaway near verbatim rewrite of a 15 month old CTAG pre CES 2017 press release accompanied by an equally elderly"product" photo (that I'm sure we all recognise) appearing on some backwater industry e-zine is the best hustle material left? Honestly, Amit and his faithful will have to try harder than that. I've been musing on the bizarre continuing zealotry of the faithful. I'm unsure whether they are:- Paid shills. So desperately blinkered by confirmation bias that they can't even consider an unpalatable but ever more likely reality. So crushingly naive that they're permanently starstruck in guru fashion by ABH. Frantically trying to dissuade LTHers from calling an EGM by pointing eager fingers at any old trite pile of horse poo and claiming that it's incontrovertible evidence of jam tomorrow. What's most obvious of course is the continuing misdirection and attempts to control the debate. I'm not surprised that they gather in forums where any dissenting opinion is immediately deleted. After all, why let the truth get in the way of a good religion?
