I see WM is at her usual level. It's just so refreshing to have someone who never disappoints. I'm all good, thanks Doug - I do appreciate your heartfelt concern though. It does you credit. Just keeping an amused eye on things and chipping in when it seems appropriate (which usually means when statements have in my view crossed over from the mildly bizarre - which is the norm - to the self-contradictory and outlandish).

The previous CTAG single thread record is 207 posts. Although still early days, looking at the way the development of this particular thread is going, I'm sensing that this is possibly under threat... Sweepstake, anyone?

Therefore, you must inevitably also be tarring anyone else who doesn't agree with your rosy outlook with the exact same "you're a simpleton" brush. WM, all I'd say in reply to you is this The evidence you present, although making things crystal clear to you and thus really easy for you to "join your dots", is absolutely not as blatantly clear and obvious to others, no matter how often it may be repeated. Hence a very different penny may have dropped for others. This doesn't make those others thick, blind or "bad people" for failing to understand something you see as glaringly simple. Instead it just means that those other "diligent investors who deserve a lot better than the current nonsense" are weighing the exact self-same evidence and coming to a very different conclusion. Implying that those so doing are in some way simpletons who couldn't even recognise the nose on their face is not desperately fair.

Oh and PS... I didn't ask whether you'd announce when your own personal patience was exhausted (I'm sure you would). I actually enquired whether you had an idea of when your own personal patience might become exhausted. Or to put it more simply, how much longer are you personally prepared to give ABH and CTAG? Again no harm, no foul if you choose not to answer, but I think a clear response would be of interest to those "diligent investors who deserve a lot better than the current nonsense" (as you rightly put it) and who simply do not understand the positions of those still showing some levels of positivity.

That's the precise reason why I asked my question of K27M. It's worth perhaps bearing in mind that there will be plenty of those "diligent investors" you refer to, whose patience won't be as far-reaching as your own apparently is and that - quite justifiably IMV - may well have also run out already. Again we can agree that they "deserve a lot better than the current nonsense" - or lack of answers, if you'd rather - that they've been getting to date. It's down to CTAG to provide those answers, whether good or bad - they're the only ones who can. No amount of positive-sounding vaguely related weblinks posted by supporters suffice, any more than negative deconstructions by those more cynical do. And in the view of not a few, the time for CTAG to have provided said answers is long overdue - but for others, apparently not so.

Damn but it's hard to make sense of your posts these days, WM and DougB. I dunno why it's apparently so difficult to state clearly and simply what one means? Anyhow... WM, whereas I agree that the FCA absolutely should take an interest in the shadier end of AIM director statements and dealings, disappointingly they almost never do. Hardly a deterrent, then. Just out of curiosity, you two, is there actually a point by which either of you will lose patience with CTAG? If there is, would either of you care to share it? No harm, no foul of course if you don't feel like doing so - but presumably there must come a point at some stage where, if (NB please note that "if") absolutely nothing has continued to happen, you'll get bored with being strung along?.

DougB, I simply asked K27M a question, since I couldn't find a single thing in his stated assessment to disagree with. However in so doing, I was mindful of the blazing sectarian row that developed last time he proposed a course of action that didn't run to everyone's tastes. Personally, I do attempt to let history - since that's always something we can be sure of - inform my judgement calls. A thing which also explains my personal view on CTAG, which I'd find hard to call "excessive". However, each to their own...

K27M, I don't disagree with one single word of your evaluation. At the risk of starting a fatwah from the zealots, if that's your appraisal, is anything currently being planned by anyone with a view to getting clarity? I've kinda lost track since the last attempt was apparently hijacked by one or two screaming blue murder and smokescreening desperately with promises of cast-iron H1 deadlines, at which point their own views would radically change... (Of course those H1 goalposts have already been majorly moved by the faithful, as we all know).

You won't see me frothing at the mouth after that opinion, JimmyB. It is a possibility, presuming that CTAG actually has some IP of value that it itself actually owns. Having said that, if this is now CTAG's strategy, then they should just very clearly say so ..."We're solely focussed on developing IP and solutions specifically to license to 3rd parties and will not be bringing products out under our own branding." A statement like that doesn't reveal any business secrets and frankly IMV it's what they should clearly state (if true), having previously raised several millions of PI funding on the back of a self-branded product planned to be brought to market.
