RA, you and other long-suffering LTH PIs have got my sympathy for sure. The fact that ANGS is now a day traders' dream (and set to be so well into 2020, IMO) is a direct result of the shoddy treatment of long-term holders by the previous management - and looking at the Brockham horror show u-turn - sadly the existing management too.

Not sure how your call to action will go - but I think that your first port of call might best be the Nomad, who's there (allegedly) to safeguard PIs' interests by checking and signing off the accuracy and veracity of company statements issued via RNS.

The trouble of course is trying to work out when he's likely to do this (and I'm staggered he hasn't already). And since the longer he leaves it, the lower the SP spirals down, it's getting tricky to guesstimate the best buy-in price for a short-term flip. I had thought 1.3 dead... but we'll see.

YL, out of interest since you seem to have extra funds available, rather than averaging down. why don't you run a day trading shareflip pot alongside your long-term holdings? Given that the mid-term prognosis for the ANGS SP is that it's very liable to be up and down faster than an extremely overworked lady of the night's lingerie, it would seem - just IMO - to be the only real smart thing to do?

As I said before, I'd suspect that the above have something to do with a slight recent shift in sentiment on BBB. I'm hearing that there are a few thousand customers involved across the UK, the Rep of Ireland and France.

TBF although this isn't huge news, it's a bit dumb of BBB to put itself - through its own actions - in a position where a few thousand customers all get cut off all at once, because it's apparently breached contract with one of its connectivity suppliers...

I completely agree - as you well know - that the individual supply of broadband to Western European homes and businesses is a complete waste of time for satellite operators. Eutelsat may well be throwing buckets of money (eg free CPE for starters) at resellers like BBB to get as much single user utilisation of its new Konnect service as quickly as possible, but it's a mug's game in the face of FWA and especially 4G (from any of the big MNOs actually).

So not only is this a small beer spat and unimportant, but it's also something that AVN shouldn't - and presumably wont - get itself get distracted by. It has more appropriate and lucrative opportunities that it needs to pursue - as we both know.

Finally, yep. It does remind me of the QSAT clusterf*ck - good call. Except this time it isn't about an ISP going bust... I'd lay money on it being an ISP breaching contract.

If you'd read my post more carefully, you'd have seen that I specifically stated that BBB was almost certainly in breach of its contracts with AVN, hence the latter's decision to switch off (and try to migrate customers to Bentley Walker). It absolutely is small beer - and frankly a distraction away from the much more sensible rabbits that AVN now seems to be chasing.

I'm with Will on this one. Lucan pretty much has to buy in - or he'll be seen as just another spin, smoke and mirrors AIM CEO being paid handsomely by PIs while continuing to deliver three parts of sweet FA, except for more empty "jam tomorrow" promises. If he doesn't buy, this is going to spiral slowly but inexorably downwards - until Balcombe and Saltfleetby are put to a truth test - and that's not due until well into 2020.

And if he does buy in? Will1734 will be happy and make his 10-15% on the brief spike... and then the SP will quickly retrace and *still* spiral slowly but inexorably downwards until well into 2020.

AIM, eh? Gotta love it.

Apparently, Avanti has just the other day switched off broadbadnd service to all remaining UK and FR customers as provisioned by Big Blu.

Why, you may ask? Well Avanti FINALLY noticed that BBB has been running a very aggressive marketing campaign over the last six months looking to get their entire Avanti customer estate to migrate over to the Eutelsat Konnect service. I suspect that BBB has some contractually agreed number to hit with Eutelsat, involving getting X number of customers onto the Konnect service by Y date. Anyhow...

Presumably BBB's actions in doing the above were in breach of its agreements with Avanti - so upon finally noticing the hugely increased churn, AVN literally stopped supplying service to any BBB-brought end-user a few days ago. They just turned it off...

So there's now a race... BBB is desperately trying to get those few thousand customers who all of a sudden no longer have any service to sign up with them on Eutelsat Konnect. Avanti on the other hand is trying to get all those suddenly broadband-bereft customers to sign up to continue with its services... except via Bentley Walker/Freedomsat.

Not a biggie in the grand scheme of things, but it's quite amusing... unless you're one of the poor sods caught in the middle of the bunfight.

Was speaking to someone in the sat industry yesterday. His view was that it'd do AVN a world of favours if the launch of H3 catastrophically failed (provided it's been properly insured).

His bleak but pragmatic view was that the last thing the company needs at this point is the extra expenditure of running a 4th satellite, when they haven't got anywhere near selling out capacity on the existing fleet. Plus he pointed out that it'd be typical for AVN to have to contractually pay out a few more 10s of millions of dollars (almost certainly to ArianeSpace) if/when H3 is demonstrated to have reached its specified orbital position and to be in stable geostationary orbit.

TBF, he potentially does have a point...

In other (much smaller beer) news, AVN has very recently decided to switch off service to all the remaining few thousand "direct to premises" customers as provisioned originally by BBB in the UK & France over. AVN has immediate plans to try and get these serviced by Bentley Walker/FreedomSat.

Why? Because AVN finally spotted that BBB has over the last 6 months been running a very aggressive marketing campaign aimed at migrating all its AVN users over to Eutelsat Konnect and so causing a massively increased churn - which is presumably in breach of contract. Take a look at the apologetic "service update" plastered all over BBB's website at https://bigblu.co.uk

Much the same type of myth is used by those less than honest about their agendas to explain BB negativity. IDs like HGB (who, we'll remember first joined LSE magically first appearing with his unrelenting positivity a whole year and a half after CTAG delisted... and just as Amit was looking to siphon more hard-earned out of more naive PIs with his "amazing pre-IPO buy-in opportunity!" - always push this "terrified shorters with open shorts" fairy story. What a crock.

Anyhow, to rephrase HGB's posed question to something a whole lot more relevant... 2 1/2 years later - any sign of an existent company?
