They plan to issue another 104,998,731 ordinary shares at massive discount of 315p per share!. This should be a warning. They are desperate for cash it seems. Im staying out of this as I expect a further drop towards this 315p price. I think it will settle somewhere between its previous 588p price and 315p new shares price. I might buy at around 450p in coming weeks if it drops that low.

Accept a D4E deal they could have controlling shares couldn't they?, and hold heavy influence over the incoming CEO Andrew Davies to get this beast of a company back to generating big profits. I hope they come to some deal to save it for the benefit of everyone.

@MikeBarn1986 - I suspect a large number of day traders were sniffing around because the yearly trading update is due soon, but they must have seen enough profit in their trade to exit sooner. A few more might leave over the coming days, but I think it will find a base maybe 10-20% lower than now, and I'm expecting a rise again in the lead up to early-mid February.

Yes, good to sesame new interest from investors. With a hopefully promising trading update during Feb I believe, Im expecting a lot more interest in the next few weeks, and with a low ratio of shares available to private investorsit only needs small buying for a quick share price rise.

This recent RNS give me the impression that the senior management team are just throwing tins of vanish over a turd to try to give the effect of polishing it without getting their mitts dirty. Re-employing 300 part time staff who were some of the previous self-employed staff still leaves a shortfall of 1700 collections staff ! And i can't imaging those that were re-employed will be that loyal after being booted out first time. Problems are far from over here. I'm expecting more downward trending in the next few weeks after this initial bounce.

The shares bought today are reported by LSE to be 2462 but they haven't included the 12195 shares bought at 13:02 today, so the correct figure should be 14657 bought. Does anyone know why LSE might be reporting incorrectly?

It could be a delayed reaction from the recent Numis broker upgrade to a 'Buy' rating. Just a possibility, and the fact that it has been massively oversold.

and now they have been exposed by a BBC Panorama program with secret footage from a whistle-blowing staff member. The ethics & culture at G4S is deplorable & disgusting...still. I will keep an eye on this for the future but this is uninvestable for the foreseeable future until they root out these unethical staff at all levels !

I do agree Sagg, but I'm tempering my excitement on this one. There is plenty of news out there about security incidents & GDPR coming which explains ECSC needing the extra staff, but I would personally prefer a slightly slower steadier rise for the medium/longer term on this, but I'm glad to be invested that's for sure.

Do you know something K&Q that you can share with us here? I suspect Nigel Payne CEO and Co might be slowly buying back after selling a few at 482p. It does seem way oversold here at the moment.

Phoenix Asset Mgnt have gone from 56% Hornby ownership to 71% following their 18+ million shares bought yesterday. Well there is only one way this going now that's for sure.
