Today was definitely the day for Glencore shareholders £380 million special dividend, in the newspaper today (Daily Mail). Total return to shareholders £860 million, drop in the ocean compared to here. Interesting it goes on to say about commodities supercycle which could see prices climb and climb for years to come.

The important thing is that the public is convinced to buy EV's in the interests of EUA. Also there are unlimited uses for PGM's in a number of other industries, so let's get the deal done, so that we and the world can move on.

Just as a footnote regarding diesel vehicles, you keep on hearing about dirty diesels, but I have had Audi diesels for over 20 years returning 65-75 mpg and when I go for an MOT test they have always had a problem trying to get a reading on the emissions test. I was in the motor trade for nearly 50 years and have a wealth of experience as regards motor vehicles and don't consider diesel vehicles being as bad as they are painted. I understand that other forms of power electric/hydrogen are less polluting but I'm of the opinion that the switch to these forms of power are an attempt by governments to appease climate protest groups and not really accurate information for the general public. Just my opinion.

Anyway dealer if this special dividend comes off as most think on here, a Dacia Sandero will definitely not be on the menu, more likely a Tesla or something of that ilk. But I will be sticking to my Audi diesel, as at my age it's not really worth spending all of that kind of money on something that will still get me from A to B.

Good morning everyone, good old Mr Biden USA to be all electric vehicles by 2030. Just more fuel to the fire (pun intended), seems like an unstoppable force in the world. These PGM's are going to be so much more valuable than anyone ever thought.

Crippz HL are f...ing useless I've already opened an account with Charles Stanley who I used to be with, worst thing I ever did was moving to HL. As soon as this is concluded here I shall be moving lock stock and barrel to the aforementioned, I just can't be bothered to battle with HL to get the kind of service that they once provided and promised, they are a shower of sh.te in my view.

It's a win win situation as far as I'm concerned, I can't see financial institutions BR, GS etc losing their clients money as they are invested at higher levels than the current share price, they know a lot more than we do, so for that reason I'm more than happy to invest at these levels.

To me it just shows what a good deal you got, as James says I wouldn't be fuming I'd just be grateful that I have picked up at a bargain price. I'm also hopeful of picking up some more of these while the price is still at these levels, just waiting for my money to come through.
