Ereddy, I wouldn't put any sell limits on any share precisely to stop that kind of manipulation. The only time I would think of doing that would be if I couldn't track my investment for some reason.

Just tried a dummy sell on HL, 26 to sell and 27 to buy. Their offer to sell was 25.675, that's why this is being held down! So don't tell me that it's because the RNS was nothing special, it's MM lead nothing more or less.

Exactly Valuefinder, have been in both for about 3 years, but still a lot of upside in both companies. The fun is only about to start, they are longer term targets for me and really solid companies, so many years of profits and dividends to come as with here. Exciting times all round then.

Giraffe, also take a look at EUA , but don't take too long as it's about to happen there. They are into mining PGM's which are the future, they are used for electric vehicles and batteries for cordless power tools and also used for cleaning up the seawater that the Japanese nuclear industry has to do after the Fuchashema nuclear accident.

Well it's helped me, have increased my holding and will carry on doing so as long as this continues, so manipulation can work to your advantage depending on how you handle it. If some on here want to keep giving up their shares I'm more than happy to keep on buying them.

Just wondering if the owner of the new shares could be Blackrock? Especially as it was priced in dollars and not pounds or any other currency, it would fit their strategy and give them options to short if they pleased?
