I have to say mac I totally agree with you, but I do think that upbringing is as much to blame as drugs. People's values are not the same as they were years ago and I think that the younger generation have far too much money in their pockets enabling them to buy drugs and knives. Gone are the days when you had to save up to buy something. As for getting them into apprenticeships they are few and far between not only that but a lot of them just don't want to work. Out of 6 apprentices that I took on only 1 was any good and went on to achieve great things. The other problems with apprenticeships is that government red tape and health and safety brigade has ruined it for most employers if they are in a small business.

Bumble, if these idiots planted themselves in front of my car I would run them over without hesitation. We also have a bunch of idiots near to where I live protesting about experiments on animals, they need to get real and realise that's how the world works and products that they use have been tested in animals in the past.

Absolutely Bumble, I'm just looking at this from a practical point of view, we are in the business of promoting green energy and certain people with copious amounts of money think it's ok to go on a space jaunt for their pleasure. As for those idiots who have been blocking traffic in London, I certainly don't agree with their actions but they are probably on the right track as far as it goes. But agreed there are other ways of getting their point across and they need to get their house in order.

We as a company are surely in the business of reducing pollution not increasing it? It certainly doesn't bode well with me.

Finarlies, I understand what you are saying as regards business opportunities, but do you realise how Amazon works, it gives people the opportunity to expand their businesses but when they are successful they then drag the carpet from underneath them and dictate the price which they can sell their products on their site. If you don't believe what I'm saying do some research, I remember watching a programme which addressed this problem and the dealers that were interviewed were frightened to death if their identity were exposed, is that the kind of life you think is fair? Not only that the sole purpose of Amazon is to collect people's information to use against them in the future. I would also dispute that this company has had a direct impact on poverty, they may have caused a lot of poverty and problems for the many people that have worked tirelessly for them in the past. Agreed that they have made some things cheaper, but that is at the expense of the people that advertise on their site not them directly.

Another thought that comes to mind is that Jeff Bezos is wasting immeasurable amounts of money on projects like this, just to become Mr Popular, maybe he should be thinking of paying his workers properly and scrap the need to employ people on zero hours contracts, if he really wants to truly help the world this would be helping others who he has been abusing his staff for years. He really does need to rethink his strategy if he does want to be taken seriously.

Just been watching the so- called space flight, it lasted all of 10 minutes! What a waste of rocket fuel, not to mention how much pollution it created. I just think that these boys and their toys have cost a fortune and how many starving people/ children that could have been fed with that money. I was under the impression that this space journey was going to be a worthwhile experience for those who were lucky enough to be onboard, but for 10 minutes, you have to question the sanity of the idiots that have nothing better to do than to waste their money on vanity projects like this one.
