Personally I don't buy anything on line, but a mate of mine does and he has a credit card for that purpose alone. If he sees something he wants to buy he transfers the exact amount from his main card to the online one then pays for it with the online card, that way it's virtually impossible to be scammed. Good tip?

Good morning Tcxman, yes I understand what you are saying about lost posts. Another problem that is being used as a tactic is if some on here don't want people to see a certain post is they find a thread with about 50 posts on it , then add a post on the end and use that to cover up a very relevant post, that way a lot of people on here can't be bothered to go through the amount of posts and it gets lost in the confusion, known in the legal profession as muddying the waters. I always have a look beyond the rabble of posts to get to the hidden posts, quite often a good thing to do.

Doggy, great decision on your part putting your pension in here. Wish I had done the same thing, but I took some financial advice and you can guess what happened. Perhaps that's why we had the surge yesterday, all down to your pension contribution coming into here.

Everest, don't get me started on Greta Thunberg a self seeking promotionist. What she says is laudable but laughable at the same time. Most of the Co2 generated is caused by natural events, Earthquakes/Volcano eruptions. I know that we have to do our bit as consumers, but how do you deal with natural events? I'm surprised that they can't capture and use the Co2, as it's one of the most used gases in the world.
