Good post Judge, but would be a tad disappointed if we got $1.62 per share. Would like to see at least £2.65 per share, perhaps a shade more. I know that nobody knows at this time, we are all still only guessing, but as you rightly have said that they will only pay what it's worth, but there is also future value to be factored in.

Thanks whitebuffalo, I wasn't sure which tax it applied to but that makes perfect sense. I hoped that it would apply to CGT as well, although most of my EUA shares are in my Isa and sipp so not too worried. But thanks for a civil answer, hard to come by sometimes.

Quick question, if you have held EUA shares for more than 2 years being AIM shares aren't they free of any taxation? That's what I was told a long time ago or has anything changed over time?

I'm also up for a meet up when this comes to a conclusion. A few beers and breakfast sounds good.
