Regardless of what round of talks we are on, I think the important thing to have would have been a ceasefire before the talks got started, should have been conditional to talks starting. I really do hope that Roman Abramovitch can influence his mate to do the right thing and withdraw. No matter which way this goes Putin will come out of this badly, and I think that Abramovitch fully realises that to be the case. Not really that surprised to hear the news although I am disappointed with the result. I can see the situation as being similar to that of Georgia and Belorus, don't see it hurting Eurasia. As for Gas supplies to Germany, I don't really see any change to that situation as the Russians need the revenue as much as Germany needs the gas. The only problems that will probably come from Boris and Biden is their ineptitude to read the situation properly.
