Excellent post, blaustein, sums up FUM perfectly. Everything's gone now - PET, CSD and now MED and with a stream of broken promises and non-delivery it looks like this is yet another failure destined for the AIM graveyard.
RIP
Strong sell
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! Barder investing in FUM shares? I bet if you look back at all his "purchases", they're through cheap share options or "bought" via a massive bonus like last year's placing. This guy has made millions over the years via a huge salary out of a company that has never made a profit!
As for all these so called experts talking dermasys up, they're the same so called experts who talked MED up.
The Market is saying SELL
Strong sell
Can buy huge amounts if I was crazy enough to want to, and the big spread suggests the MMs don't want any stock. This is in terminal free fall. I told you so many times. Should have listened to Hawky.
Strongest sell ever
LOL, the rampers are rendered "speechless", unable to counter my very valid patent argument. So they get personal and start "playing the poster" rather than "playing the post". Very sad and very desperate, probably realising they've made a big mistake buying into this dog but not man enough to admit it.
I rest my case m' lord.
Strong sell
If you think FUM is "nearly there" and everything is "done and dusted" after Phase 3 data, you're kidding yourselves.
It will still be many years before getting even a sniff of commercialisation. All you have to do is look as TPR for example - almost 3 years since Thornton & Ross started to compile the regulatory dossier and they're STILL answering questions from the authorities. As for the USA, more clinical tests are needed and the FDA are notoriously strict for asking question after question making it very time consuming and difficult to obtain final approval, particularly with "non American" companies. So wave goodbye to MED hitting the US shelves for another 7 to 10 years.
FUM have wasted so much patent life that by the time it ever gets final approval (having to dodge the dreaded placebo effect in the meantime) then YES the patent will be almost gone or even passed.
The Market is telling you this but you're simply not having it, thinking you know better.
The question is when will my inevitable topic entitled "I Told You So" be posted?
Strong sell
If MED does survives a high placebo response, by the time it becomes commercial there'll hardly be any patent life left, and in that time the prescription only MED will be competing against over the counter Viagra. Why would anybody go to the doctor when they can easily buy Viagra without the embarrassing hassle?
The writing is on the wall, it's no wonder IIs aren't buying and the SP is down trending.
Strong sell
I don't get it!
Why did FUM dilute the shares 70% to gain a 50% greater value on MED - I don't get it!
Why did Octopus sell at a massive loss last year rather than take part in a massively discounted placing? - I don't get it!
Why are the directors paying themselves massive bonuses out of shareholders' placings when money is supposed to be tight? - I don't get it!
Why has IC pumped this but then dumped at such a crucial time? - I don't get it!
Why aren't IIs buying? - I don't get it!
Why are all FUM's products apparently failing, ie CSD and TPR, is there something wrong? - I don't get it!
Why did all the potential partners not sign up last year? - I don't get it!
It all don't make sense. A blind man can see where this is going! I just don't get it!
Such a strong sell!!!!!!!
I'm talking about the efforts to get MED a commercial partner. Sequence of announcements:
12/9/2017 - "We continue to work towards our objective of being able to announce a licensing deal by the end of the year"
29/11/2017 - "It is expected that an out-licensing agreement will be finalised during the first half of 2018"
14/3/2018 - "we believe that a commercial out-licensing agreement will be announced in the first half of this year."
LOL!!! What happened then? Hands up those who think MED is rubbish and is being spun out so the directors can continue to pay themselves huge salaries and bonuses? No IIs buying. SP starting to soften leading up to pivotal results. I can smell something very fishy here!!
Strong sell
A mate of mine who specialises in bio-tecs has given FUM the once over. He didn't get very far before he simply said "placebo". I pointed out the Phase 2 results which didn't appear to have a high placebo response, but he said "Doesn't matter. Phase 3 is a completely different ball game. Wouldn't touch this with a barge pole. Placebo".
Does that possibly explain why no IIs are buying, major shareholders are offloading and the SP is in a down trend despite a few weeks away for Phase 3 results? Oh, and why potential partners ran a mile last year and are demanding to see Phase 3 data?
Just thought I'd share my mate's view with you guys on here.
Very strong sell
You won't get any sensible answers to your questions from the rampers on here, Spiderman183, because you're saying things they don't want to hear, using words like "share price drop".
So my views:
"Why did the SHARE PRICE drop so sharply last year ?"
Mr Barder claimed to be closing a punchy numbered deal in H1 2018 but he failed to close ANY deal. There appeared to be some concerns unearthed in due diligence, and a video interview with Mr Barder had him looking very nervous when addressing the placebo issue, so this could be it. He also claimed that it was a strategic decision made by FUM to go it alone because it would command 50% greater value but he went on to dilute the shares 70%. You couldn't make it up. The Market saw through his nonsense and steered well clear.
"Also if the phase 3 trials were unsatisfactory what is the SHARE PRICE likely to be ?"
In my view it would be curtains for FUM and a zero SP. FUM now appear to be a one trick pony with everything relying on MED. CSD is not selling (fact - zero revenue) and TPR appears to have been asked some difficult questions by the MHRA (fact - taking Thornton & Ross a year to answer questions posed last February, and there's no guarantee they'll find the answers).
Also take into account how the FUM management are playing this, taking over £125k bonuses out of shareholder's placing money. And IIs not interested and major shareholders Lombard and Adams reducing their holdings.
A very strong sell in my opinion.
Well done, LSE, for removing Thomas's post.
It's one thing having an opinion about where this is heading, but it's another telling blatant lies ……… "They offered us a substantial upfront payment towards our 3rd trials cost " ………….. which is trying to deliberately mislead people into investing to prop up his investment. Hey, I'm very bearish on FUM, but if I knew (or thought) someone had "offered us a substantial upfront payment towards our 3rd trials cost" I would certainly give it a second thought. But I'm not daft enough to believe Thomas's lies, although several on here are.
You're treading dangerous ground Thomas pal.
Strong sell
The biggest laugh of all when it comes to ramping on here is the faith placed in Liberum's valuation. It's most likely been arrived at by the office trainee with information supplied by ………… wait for it ……. FUM!!!! Past valuations from the likes of Edisons and Singer have missed the target by a million miles and it's odds on that Liberum's own valuation will also be screwed up and thrown in the waste bin. LOL!
Adams and Lombard reducing their holdings and no IIs buying. 'nuff said.
Strong sell
I was really hoping for a tree shake today so I could top up with some cheap shares. But tree shakes are like buses, 3 come at once then nothing for ages! Oh well, always tomorrow!
STRONG BUY!!!
PS - Our Med gel rocks!
