RE: Whistling and waiting!7 Jun 2019 08:39
Personally I could not understand the last 1 month Standstill Agreement - surely the banks wanted news on Q2 production and financials before some decision.
It makes sense to wait until end June, the company is clearly aware of its daily/weekly performance and are likely to be in ongoing discussions with the lenders which obviously are happy to assist currently.
It is frustrating, the delay suggests some haircut is coming in my view, maybe some debt would be converted into stock at a pre arranged time and share price level.
For shareholders the delay is frustrating but, as pointed out in other posts, the banks have little choice but to work with the company. The next deadline really needs to be the last in my view, a decision is needed, if a deal can be struck then all will benefit in due course.
The shares are not for widows and orphans but those risk on types could do very well from the current entry point.
