AGM notes22 Jun 2019 22:19
AGM was reasonably attended - all resolutions passed, then Colin took questions and discussed the company for around 1 hour.
The company is still pursuing Moz Gold for compensation - he re-iterated their plant was in the possession of XTR - it's value is relative to local demand but again said it could be worth circa $1m if there was interest for it.
There was the usual discussion about alluvial gold, it's pro's and con's - however it was established that they are now getting a slightly higher price for the gold due to it being sold in Dubai - they have now sold the gold that was in storage - that will be shown in Q2 numbers, clearly this should be a decent quarter on the cash front.
In respect alluvial production ending, this is up-to XTR - he said the Chinese have a contract and when it ends it ends - he added he hoped there would be an overlap of alluvial and Hard Rock production in (late) Q4. That would be his perfect scenario.
Now the juicy bit - Hard Rock - Colin remained optimistic that the company could get Hard Rock revenue in Q4, he added the grade is good (2.6g/t) When asked by a shareholder how much would the HR generate for XTR in revenue he stumbled, initially said he could not make forecasts but then said, in a perfect world, $500k a month was not out of the question based on grade and volume.
It was pointed out by a shareholder that if XTR can deliver $500k a month it makes a mockery of the market cap - Colin said that is why there is a $20m (minimum) option to acquire the Fairbride concession but he mentioned $30m also.
Regarding Zambia Colin was quite upbeat - he laboured on how Copper rich Zambia is and how he has personally done very well out of the country. I think we will get more news shortly on Zambia.
In all quite a positive AGM - all shareholders present were left feeling very optimistic about the future - Colin seems determined to return value to XTR by any means possible.
No advice intended and these notes are from memory - remember Colin does 'waffle' on somewhat !
