Oilies are oversold and are rebounding and the percentage of rebound is very important to pick the ones now.

I rotated again some of my gold mine shares and added G and more TLW
Market is a bit or more than dizzy in the last couple of months but I think we are near the bottom of ftse index level or at it now and time to buy! Just my views,

JL....frustrating we all are but this is the gamble you take when you invest in the stock market or keep your money under the mattress. It is the turmoils of the markets all around the world now ...and it is a fact. Commodities are all down with oil in the front of the pack.. There is no magic formula to predict the direction of the market or commodities so one has to accept a medium to long term investment and solid value companies will pay off ultimately..
We are going through massive uncertainties at home and abroad with trade war generated by uncle Trump.
The one thing I never do is to put all your eggs in one basket like some here backing only G...I do not.

Tomorrow another day...don’t despair and I like to be positive though even 10% better than all doom and gloom.

Bunks...well said and totally agree and oil price must improve as many countries depend on higher oil price and also many shale companies need higher op to pay back their huge debt.

I am rotating my shares to buy oilies now as I see it an opportunity and if we are not at the bottom then surely we are not far from it....well it is your money and your take of whatever you decide to do...

G is very cheap. Please let’s be a bit positive and take it as part of turmoil of the market and not necessarily G specific.

I am sticking with all my shares now and G,GKP and other oilies will soon pick up and The good share always ends well and profitable. Shouting and frustrated that is all but not selling at all.
Patience is the name oftge game nowand no panick selling as you would regret this when the share rebounds.
Paper loss is not loss but market is working its ways.

JL...you are right but aint we all think we know better through out the years and that is why we fall at times.
I stuck with G and GKP for their fundementals and growing prospects but minimised the crazy politics there and DT imulsive tweets and the latest stark op manipulation. Well I think I did avoid massive loss as I bought very low sp in ACA and Amer,Fresnillo to balance the portfolio but still ended in paper loss not much so far!
There is no magic formula to time or predict the market direction so no point to look back.
None of us has predicted this share price direction right and the op to go down this fast.

This market is F*cked big time from the idiotic policies of DT to Brexit then Trade war with china and manipulation of oil price under DT and instability in forming Iraqi government and then we all getting wrong in the last many weeks...
Very messy and now sitting tight with my paper loss.

bunks....I understand and share your frustrations ....but I still think the odds in our favour from now on as we have gone down so much and almost lost half of G sp and pmo and few others but me thinking that the downwards movements of these shares are limited but the upward movements are really massive so I gambled on this with good share fundementals.. oil price is so volatile in the last six weeks but it will stabilise and what goes down must go up too.

I am still optimistic and I do think it is now the time to buy these shares and fyi I also bought TLW today too after making small profits on Fresnillo.
