JL...initially I thought like you but not now..
This virus seems more serious than we wanted to believe...
The longer we spend at home, avoid big gathering, going out to cafes and restaurants, visiting others specific the elderly people.... and eating healthy with food rich in vit C the quicker we get back to normal and not spreading this virus to others and prolong the disastrous situations.
I go out now with wife and adult sons driving in country sites ,walking in nature of beautiful Surrey but with out mixing with people only when necessary as anyone can be a carrier even without having symptoms or knowing about it specially the young generations...and spread this virus to others....
Yes alot of confusion and media talking about it but also one has to believe what is going on outside the UK..
Better be on the safe side of the argument! But stay calm and sensible.
Back to the market..expect wild gyrations for a little while . Oil sector is battling lower demands, oil wars and fall out in opec+ is not helping either, glut of supplies, people like me using less oil by not going out much or traveling ...but instability in the gulf is brewing again between Iran and usa in Iraq..it may escalate and threats to oil supplies there again could happen again!
Recession maybe knocking on the door unless vaccine made available in the next few weeks..
Agree we are looking at the second half of the year recovery..and bouncing back strongly.
I am staying put but 16/3 is an important date for me to stay or rotate to others...researching many companies and sectors now just in case .
