I respect your views …though we are talking about Covid19 and we have currently many effective vaccines and far better than the usual flu vaccines (40-60% success)…
Our available Covid19 vaccines are winning the battle and well ahead of the current virus.
Boosters are working very well and today Israel has published its findings as per my previous link.
similar or worse than current pandemics fizzled out within 3 years and some without vaccines after Herd immunity was established ..these are facts and virus got weaker to affect humans.
Covid vaccines will carry on to be tweaked accordingly…like flu vaccine.
Just FYI flu vaccinations uptake has been around the 50% of population and yearly death remains on average the same 20000 per year…..of course we have mild winters to take into account..
Nothing new here with Covid19 pandemics….the virus will get weaker and less severe while we are building Herd immunity we are seeing here in UK on the figures of hospital admissions and deaths.

It’s well known when viruses carry on mutations to survive..naturally gets weaker to live among us but not killing us as it dies too ..
It’s as simple as that…
The evolution of virus drifts throughout history of pandemics but no virus shifts in our current pandemic..
I also think this pandemic is at its later stage and we are getting the Herd immunity gradually and definitely.
