scousemark…
For Redmile now holding near the 30% of shares is basically having huge influence to make it sour for any outside hostile bid ..by themselves making a counter bid with slightly more to offer…or they might throw a low offer bid.
SP movement or rather lacking it for months seems primed now for corporate action .
If Redmile does try to throw a low ball offer to shareholders and managed to acquire the majority, then there is no automatic right for the majority holders to force the minority ones to sell at low offer.
The message is to decline their offer and ride the sp to the re rate to its real value within a few months…or even shorter.
It’s of course a speculation but just sharing my past experience with Redmile acquisition of the majority shareholding of Redx at a very low price (15.5p) to its real value…
BTW I hope Redmile comes forward and attempting to throw a bid but for me I am staying the course for much higher sp..
I also see Redmile wouldn’t attempt to force the minority who are refusing to accept the offer but rather accept this and keep their reputation intact as a “helpful “ investor to small companies ,but in fact they will be satisfied with huge gain as they did with Redx where they left the minority holders but in effect they controlled Redx and gained massively (x4 plus ,their original investments ).
I can’t see Sclp staying alone independently for long….they have great value products in different fields of desperate needs by healthcare industry and don’t think either they can manage to commercialisation stage for a variety of obvious reasons…from technicals,logistics,financial..etc.
Just imo..and speculating..
