Well finding winners of value tonight is very difficult in fact I am struggling! At Sedgefield 3.25 URBAN GALE EW back over hurdles after a spell of chasing could revitalise him. Market Rasen 3.35 MILLY BALOO trained by my old friend Tim Easterby should be good enough to take this with top jockey Brian Hughes onboard. Southwell 4.20 DIVINE TOUCH has lost its value as it opened at about 6/1 today and now 13/8 and going on his form 10/14 11/13 10/15 that's his placings in 3 runnings last summer so he's now a no bet. Wolverhampton 2.10 STONNEHAM Ew has travelled from Scotland and has been running in hurdle faces so should be fit and in the 2.40 SUNBLAZER with Willie T-D should take this.At Fakenham 2.20 HOLLIES PEARL is highly rated by the Bowens and should be too good for the rest. Finally at Musselburgh 4.00 ATOMIX beat a highly rated Nichols bumper horse at Caterick and will take all the beating here. GLA

At Ffos Las tomorrow in the Champion Hurdle which looks a very competitive field and its good to see Nicky Richards sending ONE FOR HARRY and TOP BILLING all the way from the North East. In the pub tonight all the talk was for ROADIE JOE but my selection is for the Nichols trained SAN BENEDETO EW the Nichols horses are coming into good form and this race has been his target. In the 3.15 National BOB FORD will be hard to beat with top weight. 3.50 COTILLION should win this for my old friend Ian Williams. 3.20 Wetherby QUEL ELITE EW will run a big race. Wetherby 3.55 BIG FELLA THANKS Tom George bought this to stay in training for his son to ride and hopefully run in the Foxhunters at the Festival. At Sandown 3.00 ANTEROS EW has a great chance if he runs up to his 3rd at Cheltenham on New Years Day and Paddys only ride. Finally 2.25 BRISOL DE MAI who won for us at Haydock has been working brilliantly and jumps better than any novice I've seen this year. GLA

Missed york20 Bradley's tip been at Cotswolds all day. At Caterick tomorrow Sue Smith should have a very good day spent a few Sunday afternoons at Hambleton Inn with Sue Harvey Kevin Ryan and Les Ayres and she's a brilliant trainer and horse person. In the 3.25 JUST GEORGIE should go very close. At Chepstow 2.10 LOCKSTOCKANDBARRE is a very interesting horse and I watched win very impressively in Ireland last February and Jonjo will have it well schooled and it could be very useful. I came away from the Cotswolds today being told Paddy will have a good day tomorrow at Chepstow 2.45 WILD WEST WIND 4.20 BUCKHORN TOM EW and in the Bumper 4.50 PRIDE OF LECALE is working very well and should improve on his 2nd over course and distance in December. I think Towcester looks interesting tomorrow 13.10 MONTYS REVENGE EW is receiving a lot of WEIGHT from the favourite. 14.10 CHEAT THE CHEATER should go close. In the15.50 OLYMPIAN BOY won at 16/1 for us 3weeks ago he won't be that price tomorrow but should win again. At Wincanton 3.05 BAOULET DELAROQUE should get the Nichols Sam T-D team into the winners enclosure again after their poor run of results. Finally my EW bet of the day is the Alain Cawley ridden BALLYBROWNEYBRIDGE EW 1.40 Towcester. GLA

A couple of whispers around this morning 14.45 Ludlow SOURIYAN EW trainer says he's schooling really well again and working nicely- should have a great chance today now that he's stepped up in trip too. 3.55 Ludlow ZAMA ZAMA EW should be thereabouts. GLA

A good for a Tuesday and it could have been better SEAMUS MOR was cruising behind the leaders when came to grief. At Newcastle TOTAL ASSET with Brian Hughes up can take the 14.00. At Leicester Alain Cawley should take the 13.50 on ALLYSSON MONTERG if he reproduces his Cheltenham form. 16.10 Leicester BALLYRATH and TROIKA STEPPES both worked well on Saturday morning and have a had a word for JPs CERNUNNOS of Tom George so will not bet on this race! In the 16.40 Leicester IN THE CROWD looks good value at 11/4. At Ludlow 3.20 an EW bet CRAZY David Dennis has given him a couple runs on the all-weather over 2miles and with Aiden Coleman on board will have been well schooled by David and should go close

I think LEFKOSIA had best idea today and left racing alone black Monday I call it! At Taunton 4.15 SONNY THE ONE GETS 20lb from the favourite and Tizzards horse are running well. In the 4.45 Taunton JOIN THE NAVY course and distance winner and very good second here last run should go close. GLA

Typical Monday poor racing but I've been told to have a good bet at Wolverhampton by a friend who owns 2.35 ZEEONEANDONLY Eric says he's flying on the gallops. At Plumpton Paddy should get into first three on SHAKE DEVANEY EW in the 1.35 schooled well and has been pleasing on the gallops. In the 2.45 Fergal O'Brien has two runners SON OF SUZIE and IORA GLAS both will run well but my selection for this race is SNOWBALL EW who has won for us a couple of times and the word is he will go again Monday. Out of Fergals two I favour the lovely grey IORA GLAS To run the better race with Conor Shoemark on board. GLA

At Sedgefield where I have been in the winners enclosure and saddled RIBBLE ASSEMBLY and walked the course I fancy a horse that's stabled 11/2 miles from my house trained by Tim Vaughan in the 2.15 FALCARRAGH EW at his weight can go close and it's a hell of a return journey and Tims horses are coming into better form. In the 3.50 another traveller from the Pipe yard TOP WOOD.

It's not going to be easy to pick winners at Doncaster and Cheltenham where I am going tomorrow. The fancied odds on shots will not have it all their own way I have just spoke to one of my yards and they are having heavy rain as I speak so could possibly be heavy in places tomorrow. Cheltenham 1.15 two horses from Venetia Williams stable WALDORF SALAD and ASTIGOS Aidan Coleman is stable jockey with choice of who he rides but Alain Cawley on WALDORF SALAD is shorter in the betting may have a punt EW on each as Venetia makes a habit of having a Saturday winner. Cheltenham trainer Martin Keighley could win the 4.10 SOLSTICE STAR Ew who won here in December although up 14lb he is improving all the time.At Doncaster Paddy Brennan has some good here in the 2.05 SMART TALK could beat the Mullins horse. In the 3.15 NO PLANNING EW of Sue Smith should go close she's another trainer with a good Saturday strike rate. Finally at Uttoxeter 3.30 BOBBLE BORU is my best bet of the day. GLA
