Well, as a purely speculative, make believe assessment of the situation, it could be yet more of the same old 'Lets look for an Aim company that may or may not in the future require some funding and smash the share price to pieces, and offer to step in and raise some cash in a difficult market at a huge discount ' type of thing.

It's a big old proper Engineering site, sat on the edge of the Steel Works.
More importantly, there appeared to be plenty going on - a buzz about the place.
