The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Perhaps Dobbin may hit 54 today but that may be a bit too much of a rush?
Article in yesterday's Midas in The Mail on Sunday March 31st on page 54 entitled "Shanta mines a rich seam to exit" states in the final paragraph :
"Having offered 13.5p for Shanta in December, ETC improved its bid over a week ago. The voting deadline is tomorrow and momentum is gathering in ETC's favour."
The_shareminator -----
Or put another way, the proper offer should be around 17.5p per share on current values would you agree?
Au $2210 at moment, immaculate timing for the Patels (I don't think).
Kipperfoot ---------
As I posted on 26th March, they are hardly going to release any favourable Shanta results before this voting charade is concluded as that would go against their case that 13.5/14.85p is all the share is worth.
Even if the Nomad forced them to release ( following the strong approaches here about the rubbish voting procedures) I wouldn't put it past them to "downplay" the results so as to reinforce their derisory offer as being reasonable.
These shysters are out to rook us make no mistake.

Good e mail.
Can I suggest you also copy it to :
questor@telegraph.co.uk as they are interested in this kid of thing.
I will be contacting them as well.
Nigelbonger
Agree completely.
These shysters have been trying to con us all the way through and are hardly going to stop now by releasing any results before the voting charade is concluded are they. Particularly any results that could be good.
Au price on the rise again to $2,200 by the way.
All to vote NO to all of their proposals.

The more Shanta talk of honour, the faster we should count the spoons.
With all of the dubious actions that have been going on here, I am concerned about the integrity and honesty of the RCA voting system. Do we know if there are any independent and impartial checking procedures in force, to ensure we can believe the result? The radio silence from Shanta together with (what for me amounts to) the withholding of Data from SHs is ominous, and a clear indication that they are trying to rook us.
The lack of bids from other parties is strange but may be explained if the Patels/BOD have cooked up some sort of arrangement with any other interested entities not to bid until the RCA proposal is over the line. The reward for agreeing not to bid would be the Patels/BOD could then sell Shanta on to them for maybe a couple of pence per share more such that everyone is a winner ( apart from the Shareholders of course).
Crystalvoyager ---------"falls short of the LSE Code of contact for AIM listed companies"
Presume you mean Code of conduct?

Suggest you copy your e mail to the Serious fraud office ( government) at:
public.enquiries@sfo.gov.uk
Also the police fraud department operates as Action Fraud and can be contacted on

My experience is that all e mails to the Guernsey Court are routinely ignored.
This entire voting procedure is a complete disgrace beyond a joke.
CeeD -----Did Konwave AG Buy or Sell yesterday. The form 8.3 says 17.5 million were sold at 14.46p (RNS 7998H).

Yes the obvious withholding of information from shareholders here has always been the big issue as far as I am concerned. It's illegal under Aim rules and a Regulator doing their job would have called it out for what it is. I have lost count of how often I have reported this to
Aim Regulation, and am certainly not disposed to do so again as its clearly a waste of time.
Ditto from Interactive for me. Have now voted No at least twice.
What's going on with this utter shambles?
Jammin86 "When do we get the next set of results??"
My guess would be: --- shortly after the RCA vote is decided.
Hounddog10/Kenj -----
Many thanks.
Hounddog10 (or others) -----
When or if the Guernsey Court sits for its deliberations at the adjourned meetings 28th/29th March do you happen to know what the scope of their deliberations will be?
By this I mean, are their considerations purely confined to the numbers of whether the RCA passes or fails, or do they consider any of the other serious issues that matter to SHs in this shabby affair ( POG increase since December 2023 , withholding updates, transparency issues, lack of comms, family involvements etc).
Thanks
Great. The more complaints to the Court the better.
Mimbrit ----"There could well be a much lower voting count because of this, and perhaps this should also be flagged up to the Court."
All flagging up can be done to the court at: court.reception@gov.gg
Exactly correct.
