Here's toogoods assessment or PPE as he is known on Advfn.
". Nobody is saying AZ will stop operating normally.
Exactly the opposite — if he is trying to clean up his reputation, or avoid further reputational damage, then behaving professionally and delivering real business progress is the only rational path forward. That’s the whole point.
2. Yes, material news must be RNS’d — obviously.
But there’s a difference between material market-moving news and:
*operational clarification
*strategy updates
*pipeline discussion
*Q&A on timelines
non-price-sensitive information.
All of which can be discussed at an AGM without breaking disclosure rules. Companies do this every year.
3. AGMs often give tone, context and direction.
You may not value that, but many shareholders do. An AGM doesn’t have to release a blockbuster RNS to be worthwhile — and management still chooses how openly they engage face-to-face.
4. As for “hopium addicts,” you don’t know anyone’s position size, risk tolerance, or objectives. If people want to understand the risks and the upside, that doesn’t make them delusional — it makes them investors.
5. The cash comment is irrelevant noise — and doesn’t change the actual fundamentals or discussions taking place.
I’m here looking at the situation logically:
*Nuburu has funded Tekne
*SYME has monetised more inventory
*Tekne’s Golden Power situation is fluid
*AZ’s incentives right now point to delivering and stabilising, not blowing up credibility again
If you disagree, fine — but let’s keep it factual!"
