I've already looked at the LSE and ADVFN chat boards for CSN. I don't see any posts there from ones that post here hence why I posted my query at 12:35.

I am looking to increase the number of holdings in my portfolio and this caught my eye. Doe's anyone invested here also have CHESNARA (CSN)in their portfolio? Any reasons anyone can think of not to invest in CSN? Appreciate any replies.

Yes the figure is shown every month on an RNS. But A1's posts at a glance give an insight into the long term trend of the share count which is useful for gauging the effectiveness of buyback's over the years. If A1 did not make these posts then others would have to trawl back through all the RNS's individually to collate the figures. Many on this board appreciate not having to do that through the information in A1's posts.

My Lloyds money is split between 3 HL accounts. Stocks and Shares ISA, SIPP, and Fund and Share Account. I receive interest on each of these accounts for holding cash but the interest rates varies for each account and is tiered, but the rates they give are lower than what is available with Banks. HL do not currently allow you to switch cash held in a Stocks and Shares ISA account or SIPP account into a higher interest Bank Account so I have to go with what they give. But with current rates I will still get circa £2,900 interest a month whilst waiting.

No but they are using £2B a year for buybacks which currently is not taxed. If that £2B was paid as a dividend instead that would be liable to taxation from the individuals that receive it, depending on how much they receive and other income. I would not put it past Labour to introduce some level of taxation on Buybacks as they do in America?

Sold all my Lloyds shares again this morning, to much volatility for my liking just now. Am in profit now and have been in similar position in 2022 and 2023 only to see it all wither away over the summer, so this time am taking the profit of the table. My gut feeling is I should be able to buy back in at a lower price than it is today. See where we are after election, and maybe hold of until after September budget just to see if Labour announce any windfall tax on banks then.

What has been proposed is, as an alternative to enlisting for National Service they can opt to do 1 weekend a month community service for a year as an alternative.

Well I guess that confirms Fakey is not a millionaire, but we all know that anyway. And just to confirm, neither am I. So Fakey doe's not know why the Lloyds SP fell today, well perhaps he would like to enlighten us why the ARGO Resources SP fell from over 4p to 0.35p being as he is a shareholder?
