Regarding timescales for the date of the hearing, it says......

"The Appeals will be listed at a date still to be confirmed, in Hilary Term in 2025."

I had to google that one. Hilary Term is between January and March.

The FCA have released a statement yesterday on the Supreme Court decision giving CBG permission to appeal the Court of Appeal judgement.

"Our response to the Supreme Court's decision to hear an appeal on 3 motor finance cases"

They go on to say "We are considering whether to formally intervene in the case to share our expertise to assist the Court on the substantive appeal."

Do they have any authority to do this? Surely this cannot be allowed? This is a matter between CBG and the Supreme Court. Seems they are attempting to influence the decision of the Supreme Court to make a decision in line with the FCA stance on this?
